  • Hello comrades! Jujutsu Kaisen does MANY things better than other shonen, because it's simply a direct improvement on the genre as a whole. We have a wide array of actually interesting characters, a straightforward but interesting plot and stellar action. However, I want to dive a bit deeper and talk about categories where JJK passes with flying colours. Hope you find these 5 reasons why Jujutsu Kaizen is better than other shonens fun and informative.
    Thanks for watching, YOU ARE AWESOME!

I think many arent used to series that do subvert expactations (see star wars 8, jjk, etc) and really want the same old. Sukuna has not become friendly and saved the hero and people cried, the fights take out main heroes and there is no melodrama or chance to morne, people cry...we are on the edge of our seats and people cry...people cry if jjk is the most popular series, they just cry

      @nichescenes idk. I think because its a shonen... people forget to read in between of all that's going on, they're spoiled with quick pacing and to the point action that they don't know how to appreciate what's going on, one chapter they praise Gege and the next one they despise him back and forth, fkn ridiculous... but i hope by the end people catch up.

    I love that the kids aren't out performing the adults. You know, ppl with actual battle experience. What was the point of the Anbu Black Ops? The trainees in JJK are exactly that, TRAINEES! Nobody is relying on them to save the day. They want Gojo. They aren't calling out their attacks either. You know, nanami at this best was probably quite high up there in grade 1, so when he punches a whole wall down, we can expect that power from him. And if you want to find a feat among the kids that showed of power like this, Yuji jumping off a building is really thr closest you might get. It always shows the distance between him and that, her and this and them and those. And the closest thing to a dumb power up is when Megum pulls out something new of when Yuji goes rage mode.

    JJK has by far the most creative fights I've ever seen in Shonen, period. Bleach for me had the potential with the Zanpakuto spirits but at some point it gets so tiring to see for example Ichigo's Getsuga tensho for the 10000 time...With JJK even Yuji who's supposed to be that upbeat but also dense Main character actually THINKS before he attacks most of the time. And the idea of black flash is just, wow. Honestly genius. People like Nanami is terribly outmatched against high tier opponents but Gege still gave him the record for most consecutive black flashes (before another one broke it...). The last fight between the strongest was genuinely the first and for me the only time where I actually enjoyed reading it week after week compared to for example Luffys fight against, Kaido, Doffy or Katakuri which, for me, got boring pretty quickly. Even the current fight in the manga is nothing anyone could've anticipated and while I do think Gege lacks storytelling abilities, like I said, especially in the New Gen Generation his power system and JJK fights are by far the most creative and interesting ones.

      @orderofscribes 9 месяцев назад +11

      I agree with everything youve said, but id be hard pressed to say gege lacks skill in story telling. The plot of the manga may not be the most original and the way events play out may not be very different from his contemporaries, but he more than makes up for with his subtle character writing. All of his characters are layered and fit into the world and story beautifully, and while the story isnt very original like i mentioned, it is character driven. The complex and interesting characters of the show and their thoughts and emotions (the basis of the cursed energy power system) move the plot forward in believable ways that build up to one another. Theres an overall narrative on the internet that jjk isnt deep or well-written and thats a shame, cuz if you look past the surface of what the story explicitly shows you, you’ll find that jjk is a very solidly written show with great characters and great action in my opinion.

    A lot of people complain Gege kills too many characters but for me this is a breath of fresh air as I think only attack on titan did the same thing to such a degree. It shows how dangerous the job they do is and adds high stakes for every fight. It really keeps me guessing and on edge and he's not afraid to kill off big characters too. Compare that to MHA where I dropped it cos it feels like there are no stakes on top of like 100 characters who don't even matter cos you can count on 1 hand the characters important to the plot. Maybe I'm just morbid to not be bothered by the deaths though as it's a thing a lot of jjk fans dislike. I also like that the villains are unapologetically evil there's no tragic past stuff or evil cos trauma etc. Demon slayer trying to gain fake sympathy with every villain near enough having a tragic past as a human was pretty irritating. Additional bonus there's no horny/simp/woman obsessed comic relief character. That trope needs to die.

    2 things JJK does that creates problems, in my opinion. Gojo: create a OP character from the start creates the problem of “only him can deal with the strongest monsters” which is very clear when jogo/mahito kills half of the cast like nothing. Anime pacing: the characters don’t have time to develop or get stronger, we have like 5 scenes with Nanami and he gets killed, similar for Nobara, we don’t even have time to create connections with the characters. It’s like if Luffy meets zoro and then they fight Kaido and Zoro dies. The death is not as impactful because we barely get to know Zoro

    Idk man, Sakura didn't die, outperformed Naruto in early part 2, literally kept the series going by saving Naruto's life, and actually hurt Kaguya. Plus, she had the best kid in Boruto. Even though she ended up with my literal last choice for dudes. Sasuke is an irredeemable douchebag, imo, and the ONLY character who didn't deserve Sakura. I would've taken any other pairings. I even like Naruto X Hinata more, and I bash the Hell out of that.
    Though, tbf, my complaint about Naruto X Hinata is he suddenly marries her despite NOT REALIZING SHE EXISTED AS A WOMAN BEFORE SHE DIED. She literally goes, "Naruto, I love you!" And DIES, and then he's like, "Oh damn! She's not just a friend in Konoha. I'll marry her!" Like, there was NO buildup to him having any feelings for her. Imo, the should've tweaked The Last movie to happen BEFORE the wedding, because at least they have a really sweet moment in that. It would've been something more than Naruto finally realizing there's another woman in Konoha. It would've shown building feelings towards that woman.
    Basically, if it had any buildup, it's a perfectly acceptable pairing or even a really good one... like any other pairing with buildup could've been. Sorry, but I can't bring it up and not rant about it.
    Sakura isn't useless. In fact, given the entirety of the series, she's the 2nd best written female, right after Temari, the only one who doesn't suck lol. She has the most moments and feats. She has character progression. Hinata doesn't. Tsunade has her introduction and her arc immediately and then doesn't. She barely even has feats after that arc. And she's 3rd best written in the series. Anko? Awesome buildup, zero payoff. Wasted. Probably 4th best written. Kurenai? Nothing. Mei? Nothing. Tenten, Ino, anyone? Garbage. Nothing.
    I'll put Nobara over just about any woman in Naruto, but Sakura is at least competition with all her moments and feats and stuff. Though ultimately, as much as I clearly like Sakura, I do think I'd place her below Nobara. Even if just barely.

    • @mahistv
      @mahistv  5 месяцев назад +1

      Well. How many episode did it take for Sakura to do anything? 70 to kinda save our dudes in the chunin forest? Nobara was useful right after she got humbled in ep 3. She was able to solo Nishimiya, who is her senior, she helped with the investigation, with killing 2 special grades, wingmanned Yuji's highs cool friend, damaged Mahito (who is pretty much invincible for most characters) which resulted in him eventually losing to Yuji. All of that in 40 and change episodes. I don't agree with jjk being gold standard. I mean basically no characters apart from mc have any subplot to make you care for them, junpei was like the only death that had any emotion everything else is just dejected for me.
    the main character is just a boring regular shonen archetype for me "happy go lucky and very naturally strong yet gets angry sometimes" who also has no cool abilities to compensate for a basic character I mean his abilities are literally just "punches... but with cursed energy".
    going back to my first point as to why I don't like any fights, well the animation is incredible but it's just utterly boring for me because I'm not invested in any character because I'm given no reason to I'll give two analogies to describe it, its like when you dangle car keys in front of a baby, sure the baby loves watching them jingle but there's no investment or any actual stakes it feels like. the other analogy is like, if you take a tribesman from a peru rainforest then place him in front of a tv to watch a ufc match, no matter how good that fight may be he wont really care since he's not invested into the people actually fighting. i was so dejected from what happened that I just dropped jjk after watching a little of the yuji vs mahito fight as I just was past caring
    deaths have the same issue, when nanami died I was just stonefaced. like this man is given nothing to care about, what are his goals or his subplot "he wants to go on holiday" that's it? it couldn't have been that he wanted to get enough money to stop being a sorcerer or something that refers back to his previous backstory. it is such an inane thing to me. apart from junpei no death actually felt meaningful in the slightest to me.
    these are some of my thoughts on jjk, I have more but I think I'll write for way to long if I keep going. obviously this is all opinion so don't take it too seriously lol

    • @mahistv
      @mahistv  6 месяцев назад

      I don't know what to say, because I feel complete opposite, as to me, almost every character makes care about them. Yuji is your happy go lucky type, but calling him "sometimes angry" is a bit strange, because unlike Naruto getting the fox out for the first time, Yuji has changed after that. It no longer all sunshine and rainbows (even if it appeard like that sometimes), he made a decision to go against his own beliefs and kill someone. Then it was him realizing that HE is the source of many peoples death, witch goes against what Megumi told him, who doesn't want to regret saving someone who proceeds to "kill" people. Ands that's just first season.
      As for Nanami, it wasn't about going on a holiday, it's finding a peaceful end, because as we were told, most die full of regrets, blaming others. That's why he told Yuji you've got this, so that he encourages him, instead of weighing him down.

    • @avonmaster6628
      @avonmaster6628 6 месяцев назад +2

      @@mahistv I actually don't agree that yuji has actually had any meaningful change to his character or to his personality. he's just in situations which evoke him to feel that way (edginess or like "not sunshine and rainbows" as you put it). I'll cite episode 21, when he talks with megumi and nobara on the bed he's literally the same as episode 1, I don't think he has had any development that results from his ideologies or morals directly challenged in a harsh way. he gets reminded about LITERALLY DYING and he's just sitting there smiling not even thinking about it, if he wasn't like this happy go lucky basic shonen mc he'd have at least some negative reaction to being reminded of it even if it was a subtle tone shift, instead he just sits there like they're just discussing a basketball game or something. I don't believe that shows any intrinsic change to him at all. (im only referring to season 1 here as that's what you referred to)
      I think it's useless for me to try and debunk what you said about nanami (not debunk in the sense you're wrong but in the sense that I don't believe that makes his death all that meaningful), instead I'll explain a death that I thought was really well done and compare the two. jiraiya, jiraiya had a really meaningful death for me because he got a lot of sublot about nagato and how he's the "child of prophecy" and when he dies to nagato its ironic that the one who he trained kills him, in his death you see him reminisce on regrets adding meaning to the death "unable to protect minato or the 3rd hokage" "unable to be with tsunade" and when he finally dies he symbolically finishes the book and says the sequel should be "the tale of naruto uzumaki". this death provides emotion by tying up loose ends, leaving you with a bitter taste with how he could never be together with tsunade and passing on the torch to naruto. i now ask, what meaningful previous story points got tied up with nanamis death? none, absolutely none. did we get any introspection from nanami? regrets? no. you could say wanting to live in malaysia could be a regret but its just "i want" he honestly throughout the whole show he just whines and moans about everything but people think its cool because he watched a "how to be a stoic sigma male" video. granted the show is fairly short but there was like 40 episodes previous that he could have had development leading to this death meaning something, but in the end like most jjk deaths it means nothing.

    I respectfully disagree with some of your points. I stopped reading jjk after the zenin clan massacre so correct me if any of my criticism gets addressed in the future. I'll use 1 older shonen and 1 newer shonen to compare
    1. About the stupidity, there are/were other shonens where everyone were intelligent in a broader spectrum. Straw hats develop their moves through knowledge about their own can/cant's. Black bulls despite having a lot of hax, uses their brain to apply strategies, fights in groups to win. And everyone makes each other feel good in every shonen to spare feelings lol😂 its not something praiseworthy.
    2. Konoha 11 and kyoto students were both introduced early on and yes konoha 11 lost their relevance later, but as far as I can remember, do we even see kyoto students from the culling games on except for todo? And of course, I dont have to talk about straw hats and black bulls here who are not tied up to the MC and stand on their own as characters. Rip MHA tho
    3. Regarding the quality of progression, of course yuji will have a lot, he went with a immature goal in the beginning and then learned about the reality of the world. Naruto literally changed after the bridge arc and found his motto. Asta learned the way of the world brutally all his life to the point where he even lectures ppl about life(patry and dante). Rip deku tho, still wants to save shiggy. Also, too much nobara praising lol.
    4. YES!!! You are 100% right, it's satisfying to see Sukuna to torment yuji unlike others. However it makes sense for others to help MC's narratively. If naruto dies, kurama dies. If asta dies, liebe wont be able to possess others and be trapped forever. If yuji becomes miserable, sukuna can tighten his grip so of course sukuna torments him.
    5. Isn't burning everyone in the cafe to a crisp for no apparent reason edgy? Really? Also, if they did bring the age of curses and wipe out every human, then how will they be able to increase their numbers later on? Aren't they born from a human's negative emotions? If they dont want to increase their numbers ever then their desired world will become the same as the devil world from black clover i.e. boring. Jugo's whole dream is stupid unless I missed something. Akatsuki and elves atleast had respectable goals that some ppl can root for them. Of course, this was the strongest point of MHA till AFO suddenly decided to take over shiggy's body(but hey, MHA is still great at its villans)
    Conclusion:- this comment is not made to downplay jjk but to politely conclude that other shonens in the past had done these elements too and its not jjk that debuted these elements. I mean, these are just essential elements that any show would need to achieve success, so it makes sense that others have it too.

      @mahistv  8 месяцев назад

      1. I see your point, but in JJK people have intelligence outside battles. I'm not calling the other shonen groups dumb, but sometimes they are hella dense.
      2. Haven't seen past S1 yet, so can't tell, but the set up so far looks better already. RiP half of 1A indeed. Half of them have little to no development.
      3. I said it in the video, we shouldn't really compare this to the big shonens because the QUANTITY is vastly different. My point was that Yuji has to develop his own motivation by constantly questioning it. Naruto never even thought of what kind of difficult decisions Hokage might need make for example, sometimes they have to pick between peace and Uchiha's, sometimes between work and their daughters birthday. Yuji's first and second "motivations" were destroyed within month of doing his job, because they were to idealistic. Other characters also grow very quickly on a screen time/progress ratio. Of course most characters wont do a 720 degrees change, because we only had a few episodes with them. As for Nobara, she went through 300 episodes of Sakura's development in 21. Noelle took 100 to do something impactful (the fight against the despair dude was ZERO IMPACT for example, because he just regenerated like nothing happened). Kugisaki trumps almost every shonen female with her character development within 24 episodes of the show's start.
      4. I agree.
      5. I didn't say they weren't edgy at all, I said that they show a variety of qualities depending on the situation. Also, they want curses to run rampant, not restricted by Jujutsu Sorcerers. Does that mean a complete wipe of humans? Maybe, Jogo himself said: "I sure don't intend to be the one left laughing like a lunatic in a wasteland a century from now". Which implies that they fancy destroying the humanity but not living after, which is in line to what a CURSE is supposed to do. Don't forget, all those other organizations are still human-ish, while these guys are literally programmed to kill people.

    3) All that talk for future generation surpassing and shit and it all amount to nothing.
    4) Gojo literally carries half of this show.
    5) Kenjaku motives are as vague as it gets, dude is just racist with an agenda.
    6) The fck is domain amplification? another way to counter gojo which literally pops out of nowhere lol.
    7) excuse me but where the fck are the militaries?
    8) why is kyoto high so fcking useless?
    9) whats this loneliness at the top bs? So we suddenly gonna get philosophical now?
    10) WHats the stake except from stopping sakuna here, whats sakuna motive? He is literally a 1 dimensional character which the illustrator made him look badass and now they are trying to fix this by whole loneliness at top bs and giving some background in the last arc lmao.
    11) the story lacks depth, literal 1 dimensional characters except some whose motives are as vague as they come ( except for racism ). The whole show is carried by gojo and hype
    12) I enjoyed it tho but u gave it too much credit then it deserves, i mean most of the hype is thanks to the animation style

      @mahistv  6 месяцев назад

      Half of these have a merit, but I'd wait till the show is over to really draw conclusions on the big topics. I've only dived into what's immediately apparent, at least to me.
      1. Can be said about MOST shows
      2. I disagree. Yuji went though quite a bit, especially with "kill/exorcise" struggle. Nobara went from being an abnoxios teenage girl to going down like a hero (listen to what she says to Nita ns he inner monologue). Megumi is to be seen
      3. Too early to say anything
      4. Gojo is cool but that about it. Villains carry the show for me way more.
      5. You are confusing Geto and Kenchan, latter has nothing to do with race. As for motives, too early to say
      6. Just a technique we didn't know about, same as reincarnation and a simple domain to protect from expansion
      7. Can be said about MOST shows
      8. It is what it is, Mekamaru played a part there
      9. Where did that come from? And as for philosophy, we were doing it from day 1
      10. Stakes? Everybody dies unlike in other shonen
      11. Completely disagree. Villains have depth - they care about each other, they plan, they goof, they betray. Plot is thicc with several parties trying to achieve their goals. Good guys are def not one dimensional with their own struggles and goals (again, Mekamaru)
      12. Hype is not from animation. Mange was very popular without anime, because it's so good. You are confusing cause and effect here.

    2 reasons why I stopped reading jjk. 2nd one is a spoiler for anime only so dont read it
    1. Shibuya started by mentioning "curses becomes stronger on halloween". You mean to tell me that few theater folk kinda knows about jujutsu sorcerers(from junpei arc) but not law enforcement? The realistic approach should have been sorcerers contacting officers to limit ppl to go outside(like a small lockdown). Especially when this year has curse spirits that can talk + form teams + intelligent af on the loose. It kind of breaks realisim that they established up until that point
    2. (Spoilers) Maki kills the entire zenin clan bcuz of how bigoted it is. Why tho? Just bcuz it was her sister's dying wish? Or bcuz she was fed up with that clan? Why kill the whole clan? Ok, let me mention few points why I hated this arc
    (i) she went to get weapons(she gained a fantastic one) but she could have gained control over the zenin clan through sheer fear after killing a couple of them by showing overwhelming strength
    (ii) she goes and kills EVERY single zenin clan member including the ones that were away from their homes bcuz of missions. You mean to tell me that EVERY zenin clan person agrees with the zenin clan viewpoints of bigotry and inhumane treatment? Are we going to pretend that zenin clan didnt produce good ppl like megumi and that 1 kyoto guy? Heck, even maki herself doesnt agree with the zenin clan. By that logic, she should have killed megumi too right? There was room for discussion and she didnt care at all and ppl pretend this is a heroic act

      Uh in Maki's case, while she certainly didn't mind doing it, was it a matter of pure survival or have you forgotten what her father did to her and her sister?
      No,there was no room for negotiations.

    • @theblip6950
      @theblip6950 8 месяцев назад +1

      @Trattato68 never said anything about sparing her father. But killing every single member? Even the ones that are out on missions? Common man, you can't tell me that there weren't atleast some good ones from that clan that hid their motive to oppose their clan's stereotyping like how megumi and the kyoto zenin(i forgot his name) are.
      Besides, after killing a considerable chunk of them, just rule over them with sheer fear, no need to kill the rest, throw them in the culling games and let them suffer(hoping they might be useful in giving you the upperhand). Literally use them. Why the unnecessary killing instead of using those pawns to help ppl out from the culling games. Where is the sense of priorities? This is the shit that villans like shiggy do i.e. "I dont care and I'll go on a rampage" hence making me drop the series.
      Edit:- i respect ppl who chose to keep reading tho. This was just my personal preference since I didnt like how their priorities seemed messed up.

    • @Trattato68
      @Trattato68 8 месяцев назад +1

      @@theblip6950 With your method it meant that Maki had to spend her life without being able to let her guard down, running a clan that would like nothing more than to kill her to avenge their dead members. It's not life and Maki owes the clan nothing.
      Furthermore, Maki immediately showed overwhelming strength, but the clan didn't stop anyway because the misogyny was so intrinsic that they took it as obvious that she had killed her father in the toilet.

    • @theblip6950
      @theblip6950 8 месяцев назад

      @Trattato68 again, I'm not saying anything about her father, I'm only talking about her clan. No need to watch her back, be as ruthless as possible while ruling them like how sukuna does. Literally use them. Let them die in the battlefield as your pawn. Its feelings vs priorities. Are you willing to put your feelings aside for the greater good(in this case, using them for culling games) then its a heroic act(no matter the means), or you want to put your feelings first which is no different than evildoers do

      I agree with you that there is a lot of character interaction and time you have to infer. I believe it's like highschool where you just kinda become close faster than as an adult. Add to that people can't take slow pacing anymore so we sacrifice it.
      But i think your argument on characters having no development is weak, given you're looking at it from a point where things need to be spelled out to you. It's why people think Luffy has no development when he does, or ichigo.
      Yuji several times has his character development spelled out, especially by the villain. He's seen atrocities, told he's nothing, knows he is a cog in the wheel, tells himself that, all the while he's the last resort, best fighter, knows nothing of this world, and keeps getting up as Sukuna said, he can't break him after killing so many of his friends. He's gone from a kid who cries seeing his friend die to fighting on...sucking his tears up. He got changed by the jjk society like gon in hxh but also wont let it make him like sukuna...there is so much subtly to the writing and i get angry every time people say oh season 1 is overrated, s2 just fights. Fair enough but there is something called reading between the lines. I think most need to be spoon-fed and told that a scene is special and that's okay. I'm glad JJK is for me, and it's okay if most hate it so much. I think no shonen will satisfy people any more unless they aren't shonen honestly, aka they need to be just talking and psychological battles to be considered deep.

    Nobara is infinitely better than characters like Sakura but unfortunately ends up being kinda boring later on in comparison to women like Maki, Shoko, and Mei Mei.
    It's like, yeah, she's a female shonen character who isn't fanservice, in-love with either of the two other protagonists (Yuji and Megumi), or, to put it simply, annoying as hell. Is there anything else to her?
    Hot take, but if she were throwing hands like Maki or were morally ambigious like Mei Mei, she'd be more interesting.

    • @SurveyorStudios
      @SurveyorStudios 9 месяцев назад +4

      (manga spoilers ahead continue at your own risk)
      I think her whole point in the story was to be the anti sakura. Sakura was always crying about how she would never be able to catch up to Sasuke and Naruto even though she had the power to do so the whole time. The magic system in Jujutsu Kaisen is much different from Naruto in the sense that your abilities are predetermined at birth meaning no matter how much Nobara tried she could never catch up to Itadori but you never see her sulk or complain about it, she does what she can and fights even if it will kill her which ultimately does kill her in the end. I think that makes her just as interesting as a character like mei mei.

    What I like about this is that “op power” come with a cost
    There is no the main character draw some unhinged power from nowhere
    Beat the shit out of the bad guy because he had special treatment from the writer like Tanjiro and his bs sun breathing that can be used by him only or Naruto turn the one and only nine tail into a pet or Goku continuously somehow get a new hair color and people think that’s character development
    Calling upon Sukuna come with a great risk and the show/manga did about more than enough work to make sure we know that
    Even Shibuya’s destruction was that very own same song to sing “Sukuna is op, but not a get out of jail free card. Also no, there is no change of heart anywhere later on, it is what it is”
    And that became more proven as throughout the show Sukuna work is limited so much. Much more than those cliche I talked about
    We as the audience actively wished he isn’t out
    And the characters actively using their own powers to fight rather than rely on such gamble and only go for it as that last resort or even been forced into it unwillingly
    And for manga reader. Yeah we already knew just how catastrophic Sukuna can be

    It's great how JJK stays "real" while they are an obviously fictional series. I know there are lots of animes that stay true to the conditions they built in their universe, but in JJK's case they just seem....real? I think it's probably because the combination of reasons mentioned in this video: everyone is smart / rational, people develop and grow in a logical way, and portrayal of bad guys as characters with other dimensions than their evilness. The very interesting part in JJK that they don't shy away from showing that villains are very different: some have justifiable motivations, some don't, some are bad for because that's what the world is like, and others just happened to have their paths cross. This gives a realistic element to the show, since like in real life, not all bad guys have an origin sob story. It's life and you deal with it. They show that when JJK keep getting to the realizations that "oh shit, these are curses after all". AT THE SAME TIME, this show does let you question whether these curses have a 0.0001% chance of having some truth behind their motives, as they simply just want to exist. This duality is what makes this show amazing!

    The only caveat to your last argument is within regards to geto/kenjaku. All the other disaster curse were pawns the way all for one uses shigaraki and the others. I mean, yes, geto does inevitably have a similar goal but he’s clearly using jogo, hanami, mahito and the death paintings along with all his other schemes to get to a certain point, and doesn’t really care who he sacrifices. And that’s shown when he ends mahito.

    • @mahistv
      @mahistv  5 месяцев назад

      Yes, but other curses care about each other to an extent. Disasters and Mahito have a decent connection and you could see that in their interactions (Mahito and Hanami on the beach, in the cave after Gojo's Hallow, etc)

    • @Ash-op2ql
      @Ash-op2ql 5 месяцев назад

      @@mahistv Oh yea, of course. I mean, the same could be said about twice, shigaraki, toge and the others. It’s specifically geto/kenjaku who is just using all of them, similar to all for one.

    and ofc I am salty about what happened with gojo, someone correct me if I am wrong but is there any good foreshadowing that stands out on reread at least besides knowing how shounen works in general?
