- This is the story of how I made a synthesizer demo that made its way into the hands of Stevie Wonder. He called me up, and we began working together, and quickly became friends.

Wow. It was always a dream I had as a youngster to work with Stevie in the studio or on tour as an engineer. I would skip school to be the first in town for all of the albums. I knew about Malcolm Cecil, Robert Margoulef and Gary Olazabal. They were my heroes as well. Unfortunately, I never got that phone call. 😢

Loving these Stevie Storys, Thank You Bill. cool with the video snippets included too. Secret Life of Plants is such a special album to me. Race Babbling amazing. the song Black Orchid on Secret Life of Plants is one of my very fav songs. Nice to hear Ronnie Foster storys too, I have a couple of his albums with Stevie on drums on a couple of songs and the great Nate Watts on bass on songs. What a circle of friends you have
