I'm really surprised he's selling guitars that are part of his image and legacy. I would personally never part with any of them due to the history behind them and where they came from.
Seriously. I'm shocked that John sold these guitars, especially the Flying V that used to belong to Michael Schenker, one of his guitar heroes. Also, I liked his tone better when he was primarily playing Strats. I generally love the tone of Les Pauls and he seems to prefer Les Pauls these days, but he got a phenomenal tone out of his Strats. Does anyone know the story behind how this fan ended up with these guitars?
No he is smart getting the big big cash selling them now why wait till something like WW3 with North Korea happens or a financial crash on Wall Street happens that is so big it would make 1929 look like a nice holiday, if he tried to sell them then during a crisis whats he gonna get 5 bucks.

I seen them in indy in 1991 with trixter at a run down movie theater turn into a concert venue John and don rocked it whatever happened to music like that now all poppy bullshit on the radio
Wow he talks kinda like Arnold Schwarzenegger he should go move back to LA for a few years to try to develop a cleaner North American voice but I don't think he would want to be neighbors with Justin Bieber out there these days, LA is much much bigger sewer now since 1992.
