That middle spot above Caustic’s facility is my go to spot. You’ll always get good guns for the whole squad, there’s an explosive hold, sniper tower AND a charge tower, plus nobody lands there. Plenty of balloons along the way to rotate to further circles on the map as well. We usually clean up Caustic fairly easily too since there’s usually two teams battling there already at minimum, get our gold guns and good shields, and then boom, we’re solid from early to late game.
I feel that Loba is a must on KC. She has 2 benefits: economy and quick rotations. She offers quick rotations with her ult, basically letting you grab heals/ammo quickly and then seeing what else is around your POI. The less time you spend at a god POI, the less likely you are to be swamped by multiple teams trying to go there too. Since loot is scarce on KC many teams will contest/grief because they are low on ammo/heals. I honestly never played Loba before but racked up 800 kills this ranked split because she's just so valuable. Even my duo who wasn't used to me playing Loba definitely wanted me back on her when I went back to other legends (Valk, Bloodhound). Also, they just need to remove KC from ranked, or at least remove the balloons because you can literally fly from one balloon to the next and traverse the whole map in no-time. Valk isn't even really needed imho. Look at storm point, the cannons offer no directionality and that map is HUGE, but KC for some reason is sticking with balloons.
Another banger tutorial. Your tutorials has helped me climb from bronze to plat in just a week, no joke. I think it's because I play in singapore server that's why I climb easily. Keep creating awesome content please!
Even though the highest rank I've gotten is masters, my highest rank on Kings Canyon is actually only plat 4. (I dodged KC in s10 and was stuck p4 in s8.) I appreciate the tips!

@@RickTooSick I should clarify the details I left out: I WAS hardstuck p4 in s8, but then I hit diamond for the first time in s9, and then I hit diamond every split except KC split in s10 because I was working extra hours saving for college. I hit diamond in one day at the beginning of this season and it took about 5 days to hit masters. I never tried to go past d4 since everyone said it was too difficult. Not saying it's going to be a cakewalk if they revert the changes nor am I trying to be cocky about it, but that doesn't mean I'm not going to. I wasn't hardstuck 10k either, even though that's not saying much this season. I understand that you're saying it's easier but just because someone opened the door a little for me doesn't mean I don't have the ability to learn from it and move forward.

I like landing at the house on the hill between Bunker and Containment. It gives decent loot and you can third party at Bunker and/or third party at Containment.
I think the most important thing people need to learn now that KC is in rotation is not to linger on a fight, if you shoot at an enemy in plat or above you can guarantee at least 2 or 3 other squads heard you. (Like ottr said you usually only have 10 or 20 seconds before another squad joins a fight, but don’t be shocked if it less than that on KC)

These guides have been insanely helpful but you hard missed on not mentioning Hydeo Dam as a POI. Insanely easy rotation to Cage, Repulsor etc and has easily enough loot for a 3 man squad. Add on the fact that there's usually at most 1 squad there and it's basically free placement and 3rd party rat points
I'm kinda new player on apex, i grinded to gold on my first season and my second season i climbed up to platinum. This season i hope I could grind to diamond with great tips you gave us.

So many viable drops that lend to 3rd party opportunities. Vintage OG tiny map gameplay hahaha love this map but its a headache if fights last too long
What you have against Swamps? Lol. That’s such a solid place to land and you can easily third partying all of the POIs you mentioned that would third part swamps. Labs is cheeks to land at btw
just a suggestion that would help out the colored deficient people. i could barely see the red circles on the maP due to green/red deficiency so i was wondering if you could use a yellow or blue next time? thanks , sorry if its too much to ask for

I noticed less pros using Gibby on KC. It's understandable. Most end zones have built in cover. First time in ages he's not META. Lots of people using Bloodhound, Valk, Pathfinder, and Wraith for obvious reason. It's a vertical map, so Valk and Path are meta.
you didn't mention that when dropping for labs you don't reaaaly want to go through the portal if there is another squad going for it. drop for the door. you will get to the best loot in labs faster. When this was a place for the entire lobby to drop this was a surefire way to get your squad several free kills since you could easily sweep the building before the mob got out of the portal room. Good times

I'm just happy that my teammates that are supposedly plat are not gonna be jumping off the map during fights cause they don't pay attention. At least this way they can be decent meat shields.

Don't want to bother people, appearing with game invite at unintended time or smth. The comment above is mostly about feeling difference in ranks even with random teammates - the diamond IV and plat I-II almost never made me facepalm, unlike the gold ranks, and after week of diamond grinding that hits visibly.

Well my first time hitting diamond was not special at all & I feel like I really wasted time when I could’ve been playing another game. Yee I’m probably not gonna do that again just for a dive trail. Yeah honestly I’m probably never gonna play ranked again, I won’t become a predator so what is the point, no one cares about your rank so really it’s all pointless.
Thats because ranked is way easier this season, diamond was top 16% of players instead of 5%, as it usually was. Technically your skill lvl is only a plat if you only got to D4

Dont forget not only did the number of masters increase the number of players also doubled. Its because a lot of call of duty players came to apex and those guyes are absolute bots giving everyone free rp

you get a badge and trail after the season is over if you hit diamond both splits you get a shiny badge

Try the apex discord. You can find people to squad up with. Found some cool people and we went from gold to plat yesterday.
