Aim assist is literally broken if you know how to abuse it, that's why most teams tries to get a controller player in their team. most controller players can one clip people and win those close up fights because of the sidestep no recoil glitch, and with aim assist there is hardly any overextending with your cross hair because the aim assist helps you stay on target. Anyone can be good with a controller in a short time, but keyboard and mouse requires a lot longer. And being good with mouse and keyboard is way more respectable, because you have way more to gain from watching a keyboard and mouse compared to a controller, faster looting, tap strafing etc Just movement alone on mouse and keyboard is way more impressive to watch. And another tip for you guys climbing to masters solo, always assume your teammates are garbage. Your safest bet is to use your teammates as bait to get those easy kp, then when the fight turns against you, rat for the rest of the game. Using bloodhound will be your best bet, since all you got to do is scan the enemy in order to get a kp. If bh is taken go for path and wait for a scan the grapple into the best position to abuse the knowledge you got from the scan. don't be a part of your team, just use your team as if you were walking across a minefield, and sending them in first to know where the mines are. If your team hot drops, bail, go rat solo. staying alive and get a charge rifle or something and a tonn of arc stars to assist you in escaping or finishing a pinned team. Dont focus on the short range weapons if you're going to rat as most cases you wont be able to clutch an entire team by yourself, even if you manage to knock two and die, you wont get any kp. Best time to get your master rank is at the end of the season when there is just the noobs left in dia. all the good players have gone to masters and you wont que up with them, so just play on an alt account until 10 days left, the grind out your master rank.

I jumped in rat spot because my teammates died and respawn timed out and I got stuck in the rat spot and healed and heat shielded and phases long enough to get 2nd
Most players need to drop their ego. They don’t need to 2v3 push a team and then get mad when the 3rd is able to survive and run away and wants to rat to save their RP.
I enjoyed seeing the seer gameplay! After his nerf, I’ve always seen him as extremely underrated and I’m glad to see him getting more attention this split. That being said, I completely understand why teams would choose a bloodhound or valk over him, but if you’re in a slump and need to switch things up he’s a great way to do it. From beacon scans, to a fast ult recharge time you can use pretty much every fight (plus charge towers on KC) to being able to use his passive to easily sniff out rats or know if you’re walking up on a full team ratting in a building, he’s a really great legend. Paired with a Gibby, Valk, Wraith, Caustic, etc. you can just got for best end game positioning early and get some pretty free dubs and KP with fully utilizing his abilities.

My friend mains him and honestly he’s a great addition to the squad especially on KC where not running Valk is a little more feasible. As long as ur Seer is vocal, the heartbeat is very good. On top of being discreet unlike a drone or BH scan, ult is versatile to be off/def if placed correctly, and cancelling ‘resets’ (heals/res) is an easy squad wipe. Although IMO he has a higher skill floor, getting the max utility out of him takes skill. He’s not an easy legend to play but if played well he is very strong.

Take time to soak everything and remember that it’s a marathon not a sprint…YOU WILL have games where you make mistakes and games where you capitalize on your opponent’s mistakes. Just play with PATIENCE also join a discord to find teammates, YOU DON’T have to grind alone there’s hundreds of players with similar goals as you just find the right squad and you’ll rise. I would like to correct something he said. When landing the best spot in KC is the unnamed buildings between caustic treatment, market, and the Gauntlet. The one with the sniper tower. It has amazing loot plus a charge tower plus a explosive hold and then you have 4-5 rotation options to go get easy kills.

You recommended using the mic with randoms in a different vid and I can say randoms attitude changed. Something as basic as saying vocally "thank you" or "nice play" makes a huge difference in my experience. Im in Japan and people are a bit shy to do English voice but they say basic things so is helpful. I like to play valk because she can get out of situations easily. Like earlier for example I played a match where we were sandwiched between 3 teams. My teammates wanted to rush one of the teams but I got on the comms and told them no and that we were going to fly to a better spot. It was 7 teams left and after making that call to not stay and fight we ended up getting second and 5 KP each. ALWAYS play for late game/placement not kills.
Why I do agree with you playing smart and playing for end game sometimes you have to fight!…if you spend to many times avoiding fights your skills will not be there to take those better players on! You have to get the balance right,as I’ve been with many players who don’t want to fight and can’t fight and this in itself is a problem! You need to learn to third party end fights quickly then move on and rotate loot while you kill! 5points is good but a few kills and a win and it’s around 250 and you rank up much faster!!…Also those 5points you can lose in your next game the 250 is like a cushion to lose a few before you win again or get a few 2nds and 3rds.. Next season placement won’t get you much I’m afraid you will need to know how to fight and things will be a lot harder in Ranked!
I had a teammate today, we made it to the last team and it was a 3v3 and we had the advantage. He typed in chat “you guys are ass so I’m not going to let you win this game”. He sat behind us in the open spraying at our backs and threw the game and spammed chat with slurs over and over. In the end me and my buddy couldn’t pull the dub bc he stole almost all of our shields and the 2v3 was too much. Inevitably he ran into the storm and disconnected immediately. Furious. In ranked of all places.
Just follow ur team and when shit starts to go bad run early and rat. In the rare case you get what I call “ducks”, randoms that look for guidance and follow you, I tend to look at ring and try to third stuff that I think will be close to final zone, then just chill/ defend a spot and try to secure top 5. Ofc various situations are due to occur but it’s up to you to play and be able to read and react to these situations. Good luck w ur journey
All Mangos tips are all useful tried it and it works from time to time. The only thing that's hindering my soloQ climb is language barrier, since majority of SEA players doesn't speak English and they talk shit about you in their native language if you made a bad play or get caught of guard.
Currently in Plat 1 in my solo Q buzzed/drunk road to diamond. At this point I've solo'd my way to diamond each season with one intention to win while intoxicated. I'm sorry to my teammates, I work 70 + hours a week . So i need this to unwind

I've just started playing 2 weeks ago and I still suck at this game but I really enjoy playing. Your vids have really helped me get a better understanding of what I was doing wrong... Basically everything. I'm still trying to get better gun knowledge along with all of the materials, I am also trying to avoid the dreaded looting bug. I find most ppl in the Apex community are nice enough but then you get the ones that just don't talk or ping anything and you're standing there with 🍆 in your ✋. Good tips. Some rough mirage use in these clips, though. Not getting a lot of value out of him. Using decoys in front of people, using decoys into a wall 2 feet in front of you, using your ultimate behind cover and then peeking out to shoot, etc. Just an observation.
Here is how jump master works. The person that will get jump master is the last to select or the last person to physically select their legend. In other words if everyone auto selects the last person gets it. But if you select first and you click your legend while the others auto select you get it.
Commenting on the whole “establish voice comms asap with your team” apex voice chat like totally sucks and I can’t talk in game I can only hear my teammates and it’s super frustrating anyone else have this issue?
I'm overseas playing in London servers right now and it's been so difficult. I made master last split solo queuing on Olympus. But KC is so different. Also I'm not sure if I made D4 too soon or not because there aren't many players queuing up for matches at the moment. About half of the lobby is always current masters or preds and my teammates are rocking a squad wipe n 2k damage badge 💀. Plus they don't speak English so I can't communicate. Pinging means nothing to these people. My hopes and dreams of getting a shiny masters badge this season might be gone 😔 I hate waiting til the last week because ranked is way too cheese and I don't feel like I've actually earned it
Also another tip is be aware of what time of day you are playing ranked. I like to play early in the morning or mid day (if I’m off work) evenings and weekends are some of the worst times to play because all of the 11 year old octane mains who just rush every fight and die are off of school and home playing. Getting good teammates is hard enough. Don’t make it harder on yourself by risking getting stuck with these children.
Bro I seriously hate ranked with randoms , they always choose a hot drop (when I’m not jump master) and always land in a spot where there’s barely any loot for just our team alone , it pisses me off because I have to break off, go somewhere by myself , get loot , come back and get their banners while one at least always rages
I’ve had to solo que to diamond the last 4 seasons because I have no squad, I’d love to try and grind to masters but I feel like there’s too many people that just rat their way to diamond so I end up getting gold team mates.

If your playing with randoms play mobility character like pathfinder, horizon, octane, drop unconsted take your time getting the best loot, take advantage of third party and if you already have KP go zone and profit and lastly be confident thats the key
Valk: I solo qued to plat. All my randos are always in private chat or don't have mics. In plat, my lobby is all diamonds+. So my randos are still in private chat or no mics, but they are closer to my skill range, I don't see how some are diamond though, they should be bronze (taking 6mins to navigate around a boulder in KC) although they 80% of the time will always super hot drop 6+teams at one poi. I HATE solo queing but LFG is worse!
1 tip is to use only movement to run when u need. Im main gibby and when i solo q i play wraith/octane becuz if u play no movement your team might leave you alone and you can't run
Also, don't be afraid to focus on rotations rather than fighting. Simply saying "we don't have time to engage we need to rotate and get the highest ground on the next ring" saves you a lot of trouble than just ditching your team that is tempted to 3rd party but is hesitant. Sometimes I just mute my squad in the legend selection menu at the beginning of the game. I can't hear them BUT they can hear me. And it helps if you'd rather just make calls and see where if your team follows. And you're right Mango, most of the time randoms will follow you because they have a good sense of strategy OR I think they're just scared of KC. Which isn't a bad thing, its got really hard to play end game circles.
I’m sure you have a good reason to mute immediately but I did want to mention that some ppl might get frustrated if they’re trying to play with you but your blatantly ignoring them (from their POV). So instead of having a cooperative team, your stuck with ppl who are deliberately going against what you say b/c you were doing it to them. 😂
Exactly why I stopped playing with randoms in Ranked especially with no comms. No more of that shit for me. I now only squad up with friends I know. Bunch of idiots running around and hopping around on jump towers carelessly.
Not Hot Dropping. I wish more people know about this. Am currently in Platinum, and boy o boy, teammates just keep hot dropping. I've always wondered, why can't they understand that Hot Dropping is for pre-made teams. You're better off landing somewhere close third partying them. And with regards to being the Jumpmaster, I wish it was as simple as it sounds. If you are the Jumpmaster, most of the time at least one of your teammate ain't gonna be smart enough to split and loot different areas or ration loot for teammates when landing near enemies. So you end up with fighting for loot with your teammates, and sadly these are the take everything types as well. They won't care if you have a gun or not, they'll take everything, ammo, health, frags...
theres two tips i dont think too many people bring up but there arguably the most important and helpful tips number 1 get a proper nights sleep no sense in playing while tired and number 2 for the love of god blink your eyes need moisture

Last week while duo q’ing ranked, my duo told me he had a 2x sight, he dropped and pinged it for me. I dibsed it and went to pick it up. Our random teammate then started to complain that he said he needed a sight earlier, neither me or my teammate heard him when he asked. Then once i said i needed a sight as well and i would be keeping it, he decided to drop all of his loot and run away from us saying “good luck in your next game” I think that was my last straw in q’ing with randoms, and our random’s 13th reason😂
Best true solo player (no comms) tip is to quit apex, cuz devs don't care about them. No solo mode, not even duo ranked; when duo mode exists lol. Grood game, but they force trio comms teamplay, which is a shame, and is unplayable for me as an autist with troubles socially. Splitgate is fun and I'm waiting on new Overwatch.

Even if we have a pre-made we do this in some cases. If we have made some early kp and it's worth playing placement that is.

I had a teammate today, we made it to the last team and it was a 3v3 and we had the advantage. He typed in chat “you guys are ass so I’m not going to let you win this game”. He sat behind us in the open spraying at our backs and threw the game and spammed chat with slurs over and over. In the end me and my buddy couldn’t pull the dub bc he stole almost all of our shields and the 2v3 was too much. Inevitably he ran into the storm and disconnected immediately. Furious. In ranked of all places.

Just follow ur team and when shit starts to go bad run early and rat. In the rare case you get what I call “ducks”, randoms that look for guidance and follow you, I tend to look at ring and try to third stuff that I think will be close to final zone, then just chill/ defend a spot and try to secure top 5. Ofc various situations are due to occur but it’s up to you to play and be able to read and react to these situations. Good luck w ur journey

All Mangos tips are all useful tried it and it works from time to time. The only thing that's hindering my soloQ climb is language barrier, since majority of SEA players doesn't speak English and they talk shit about you in their native language if you made a bad play or get caught of guard.

At this point I've solo'd my way to diamond each season with one intention to win while intoxicated.

That’s when you either use your mic and tell them to slow it down or if you’re solo and don’t have a mic, you’d probably have to rat it out. It sucks but, never follow your team when you think they’re doing something dumb

Good tips. Some rough mirage use in these clips, though. Not getting a lot of value out of him. Using decoys in front of people, using decoys into a wall 2 feet in front of you, using your ultimate behind cover and then peeking out to shoot, etc. Just an observation.

Here is how jump master works. The person that will get jump master is the last to select or the last person to physically select their legend. In other words if everyone auto selects the last person gets it. But if you select first and you click your legend while the others auto select you get it.

I'm overseas playing in London servers right now and it's been so difficult. I made master last split solo queuing on Olympus. But KC is so different. Also I'm not sure if I made D4 too soon or not because there aren't many players queuing up for matches at the moment. About half of the lobby is always current masters or preds and my teammates are rocking a squad wipe n 2k damage badge 💀. Plus they don't speak English so I can't communicate. Pinging means nothing to these people. My hopes and dreams of getting a shiny masters badge this season might be gone 😔 I hate waiting til the last week because ranked is way too cheese and I don't feel like I've actually earned it
Also another tip is be aware of what time of day you are playing ranked. I like to play early in the morning or mid day (if I’m off work) evenings and weekends are some of the worst times to play because all of the 11 year old octane mains who just rush every fight and die are off of school and home playing. Getting good teammates is hard enough. Don’t make it harder on yourself by risking getting stuck with these children.

Bro I seriously hate ranked with randoms , they always choose a hot drop (when I’m not jump master) and always land in a spot where there’s barely any loot for just our team alone , it pisses me off because I have to break off, go somewhere by myself , get loot , come back and get their banners while one at least always rages
best suggestion is go ask respawn to maek solo q and premade q seperately so you will see a huge diff in the game after it. trust me.

Thanks for this, I have been solo quing from season 4 and i have got to diamond the max I couldnt find a team despite searching in many areas like discord twiter facebook and some other places . I am suspecting this is all becouse I sound like a 7 year old and nobody from actual good players want to join me. Thanks for the videos I find them very useful!

If your playing with randoms play mobility character like pathfinder, horizon, octane, drop unconsted take your time getting the best loot, take advantage of third party and if you already have KP go zone and profit and lastly be confident thats the key

Valk: I solo qued to plat. All my randos are always in private chat or don't have mics.
In plat, my lobby is all diamonds+. So my randos are still in private chat or no mics, but they are closer to my skill range, I don't see how some are diamond though, they should be bronze (taking 6mins to navigate around a boulder in KC) although they 80% of the time will always super hot drop 6+teams at one poi. I HATE solo queing but LFG is worse!

1 tip is to use only movement to run when u need. Im main gibby and when i solo q i play wraith/octane becuz if u play no movement your team might leave you alone and you can't run

Also, don't be afraid to focus on rotations rather than fighting. Simply saying "we don't have time to engage we need to rotate and get the highest ground on the next ring" saves you a lot of trouble than just ditching your team that is tempted to 3rd party but is hesitant. Sometimes I just mute my squad in the legend selection menu at the beginning of the game. I can't hear them BUT they can hear me. And it helps if you'd rather just make calls and see where if your team follows. And you're right Mango, most of the time randoms will follow you because they have a good sense of strategy OR I think they're just scared of KC. Which isn't a bad thing, its got really hard to play end game circles.
I’m sure you have a good reason to mute immediately but I did want to mention that some ppl might get frustrated if they’re trying to play with you but your blatantly ignoring them (from their POV). So instead of having a cooperative team, your stuck with ppl who are deliberately going against what you say b/c you were doing it to them. 😂

Exactly why I stopped playing with randoms in Ranked especially with no comms. No more of that shit for me. I now only squad up with friends I know. Bunch of idiots running around and hopping around on jump towers carelessly.
Not Hot Dropping. I wish more people know about this. Am currently in Platinum, and boy o boy, teammates just keep hot dropping. I've always wondered, why can't they understand that Hot Dropping is for pre-made teams. You're better off landing somewhere close third partying them.
And with regards to being the Jumpmaster, I wish it was as simple as it sounds. If you are the Jumpmaster, most of the time at least one of your teammate ain't gonna be smart enough to split and loot different areas or ration loot for teammates when landing near enemies. So you end up with fighting for loot with your teammates, and sadly these are the take everything types as well. They won't care if you have a gun or not, they'll take everything, ammo, health, frags...
When teammates don’t listen, you just assert dominance and do your own thing lol and they follow. That’s what I’ve found :0

Last week while duo q’ing ranked, my duo told me he had a 2x sight, he dropped and pinged it for me. I dibsed it and went to pick it up.
Our random teammate then started to complain that he said he needed a sight earlier, neither me or my teammate heard him when he asked.
Then once i said i needed a sight as well and i would be keeping it, he decided to drop all of his loot and run away from us saying “good luck in your next game”
I think that was my last straw in q’ing with randoms, and our random’s 13th reason😂

Best true solo player (no comms) tip is to quit apex, cuz devs don't care about them. No solo mode, not even duo ranked; when duo mode exists lol. Grood game, but they force trio comms teamplay, which is a shame, and is unplayable for me as an autist with troubles socially.
