River was absolutely beautiful. I know exactly what you mean about finding a new river you haven’t been on and take that chance from something you’ve heard of or passed by a hundred times wondering what’s it like and it being good. Just got my kayak rack so now I’m able to transport my new catch mode 110 when it comes in for my birthday. Can’t wait to fish. Weather will soon be cooling down and can’t wait
That's so true Brandon. For me it was better then paradise. One that will go in the memory books for sure. It will be nice being able to transport it easily. You'll be going to all kinds of different places once you get it setup.
I know right where you are on the Strawberry. That section has a lot of small mouth. Lower on the Strawberry, below Peebles Bluff game and fish boatramp just west of Smithville is where the catfishing picks up. From there down to the Black River.
Hay I really appreciate that information. Until now I've just been going in blind. I'm planning on trying the next landing down sometime. Just northeast of Evening Shade. Called Simstown access. I'm just loving this little River so far

Love the yak setup, I'll have to check out your other videos! Torquedo is overrated and overpriced for a tinker-toy 1/4" shaft. Not sure of the species, some looked like maybe Spots? I'm in PA and just small/large up here.
Thank you! 👋 I agree. I've looked at them and the newport ones. Just over priced for a few mph faster. Just isn't worth it to me. I believe your right. Here a spot and Kentucky bass are basically the same. But smallmouth are only found in a few places here. Wish we had more because they are a blast to catch. Happy Fishing! 🎣
