I really recommend this, especially since you can get these things at Walmart for like 12 dollars total
some tips from a semi professional: use an adhesive like spirit gum or prosaid before you you put down the scar wax, it will stay longer and won’t pop off. liquid latex works too ... i personally match skin tone before carving scar wax when i do clean cuts because it’s easier and set with translucent powder, it will help blend edges if you properly blended the scar wax out when applying ... and never use real staples because if you were wearing this long term and you were to bump your nose or get in a pub fight you could get injured... just a few pointers but really enjoyed other wise haven’t seen this before on youtube :)
Trying to find a way to make this more long lasting. Are you saying I should put liquid latex underneath the wax too? So place the wax onto the liquid latex while it's still wet?
@@sarahscr8257 i would actually use an fx adhesive like spirit gum or prosaid.. put the base parts down then mold it. i hate scar wax for this reason its hard to work with and to keep on for long lasting looks
@@puppetmasterr666 thanks!! If I need it tomorrow though, can i use lash glue? I read that this should work too. And do I need to let the glue dry first? Sorry for all these questions, these are the last ones, I swear 😛
@@sarahscr8257 let it get tacky like you would for lashes. try to sculp what you can beforehand too it will help with placement. know what areas for sure are going to stick and keep them there and sculpt arround and then stick after with latex in soft spots. HOPE IT HELPSS

If you made your own wax with vaseline and flour, you could make it not sticky. So you wouldnt have to use oil.
