I daily drive a 1994 Ford F-150 4X4 XLT regular cab SWB 5.0 5 speed and I love driving my truck! it only has 108k miles plus its as reliable as transportation can get. It’ll go through pretty much any terrain and it’ll start every time. plus I drive it like a tractor and manage to get 18mpg which isn’t bad at all for 3.55 gears and a V8 4x4 truck!

The motor was running a bit rough, it had ORIGINAL plugs in it, and they were nasty. And yes, they are work trucks, great review. The one I am restoring is white with blue interior, and blue pin strips. The interior is in great shape, same stock radio, seats a mint. I am loving it

@5:45 This wasn't really the era of "trucks were trucks". Compare the 70's trucks to the 1988 XLT Lariat super cab. I have both and the 88 XLT Lariat has tilt, A/C, captain's chairs, great carpet, etc... It's really comfortable like a modern truck. The "custom" is the entry level and this was an era when they really started adding luxury to pickups. Do a compare to a fully loaded XLT Lariat super cab and you'll see.
    Very important era in pickups.
