The way i determine a dps option is if the boss moves or not and if its in the air or not (taniks, oryx, and any witch on a platform or outside of pyrogale's ground range). Pyrogale is a ground smashing, cyclone creating, instant super modification for the hammer titan super, while cuirass is a 2x damage multiplier that applies to the impact damage of the thundercrash. So if you can't use pyrogale due to the circumstances set above, then no you aren't throwing, you're using the appropriate super for the job.
Of course, but keep in mind Pyro tracks really well against bosses like Ir Yut who aren't grounded but still take full damage from it. Also, you TC oryx? GIGA Chad strats!!!

I perfer Cuirass just because the pulse nades do stupid damage and if a boss stays in it then the ionic traces give you another nade back straight away and you dont have to worry about roaring flames
I'm a huge fan of the arc titan so I felt this comment in my soul. There's also ZERO setup with cuirass where as with Pyro if you're not using RFx3 you're throwing. Unga Bunga Arc Titan reporting for duty (me) LOL
@@shipIT9 im just a sucker for slamming myself into a boss head first haha plus im burnt on solar titan after all my solo flawless dungeons hahaha also in Crotas End since im always on a wizard for Ir Yut i just yeet myself back into her to start damage faster and sword runner for Crota so dont have to worry about RF stacks. Also if you factor in a pulse nade doing upwards of 130k and solar most likely on healing nade then you make that damage up since you normally yeet then throw instantly. Fellow Striker reporting for the yeet 🤟
Fish, use thunderlord at Ir Yut if you're not already. I do Wizard duty in the boomer towers, so I TC from my tower to her to get over quick dps then I go ham with Arc Surges x3 with Time dilations, I have my super back within 15-20 seconds every time and can get a second slam in. It's SO FUN! Since they changed how damage output charges your ULT, Thunderlord is wild on longer damage phases for super recharge!

If you have a team...do 1 Div, 5 TLord with x3 arc surge and x3 time dilation. Have 1 well down to start to scoop those orbs and then second well half way through to refresh. Not only will you have 2 supers but you'll also 1 phase everytime!
Both have their own utility/extras as well. If there's a fair few Titans, everyone running Solar is gonna be fighting over enemies to stack Roaring Flames, and in some boss encounters depending on your role you're not gonna be able to build up as well either. But, for Crota especially, the healing nade can be huge for keeping the team alive when he starts slapping back. Like a few other folk have said Arc has Pulse Grenades, which are just stupid amounts of damage for relatively free if they stay in the radius. Solar does also have their hammer melee too, which is a solid use if you're on Tractor. I just love that Titan's have actual options now with a DPS super (Outside of the v small cases for Stasis). Simple and clean T.Crash, Synthoceps Bladefury/Strand, as well as The Big Hammer. Feelsgoodman

Got it for you! So with tractor/tether it is as follows: 1x RF with tractor/tether = 527,692 2x RF with tractor/tether = 623,901 For div just take 15% off those numbers and you'll have it! Hope this helps!
