2:27 Forester Gump is out there like "One day it started raining, and it didn't quit for four months. We been through every kind of rain there is. Little bitty stingin' rain, and big ol' fat rain, rain that flew in sideways, and sometimes rain even seemed to come straight up from underneath."
I'm impressed that you try to rebuild a very difficult to fix car an Audi. The shop here would have charged thousand and thousand of dollars to do what you're doing in that Audi! Love to watch your videos to see how you overcome obstacles and inspire me to get my 79 Alfa running after I let it sit for many years!
Seeing little Sarah is just the icing on the cake. Love the channel and glad to see you are growing. Keep up the good work! Looking forward to the quality content
I must confess... I actually drop F-bombs like commas off camera, lol. I am however, fully aware that people watch these videos with kiddos present, so I keep it somewhat professional in that sense.
Sarah -n- Tuned Awesome reply, the whole point of RUclips is to be able to offer a more authentic version of yourself to the public. If a well placed F-bomb offends you, good luck vibing with the car culture.
Bickety Bam Or... just maybe we can keep speaking how we want and not back down to speech suppressing bullies. Let's show RUclips it isn't profitable to pretend this is cable TV under the thumb of government censors. If RUclips becomes cable, then this whole thing is a waste of time.
Bickety Bam I'm pretty sure that home girl receives very little cash flow from advertisers vs sponsors and donors. Just a hunch... (a box full of new go pros) appreciate the dialogue. I choose to die on this hill. The scary part to me is that one of the largest companies on the planet is causing* self censorship without the govt even needing to meddle. Thanks for the open dialogue while it last.
I've had a crappy week at work. I just want to say thank you for brightening my day and my week with this video. Both Sarahs are awesome and if you were on Netflix I'd subscribe just for your channel.
AvE and Sara-N-Tuned. You are my favorite RUclips channels to watch and look forward to each week. It was nice to see you well up over some gifts as I can see from the reaction you really appreciate them. Love you guys.
How cool your AvE fans.. Canadians are very awesome when it comes to quips and made up words. Glad to see both Sarah's hanging out again... Looking forward to hopefully seeing the Riviera video..please be careful Sarah..stuffs tricky...
Sarah, I'm glad you got the package I sent. I was a little concerned there, for a bit. But it's all in good hands now. Enjoy. Another great chapter, by the way.
I am so thankful you read all the mail! I am back home in CA and I must catch up with all of your videos. I hope you got my postcard. :) I am glad the TT is running like a champ!
Sarah’s laugh and weirdness is contagious I sware I can’t resist myself from having to watch one of my favorites. Sarah ik rocks. Always makes me smile one of these days imma have to send something cool. Ik I do as a thanks for making me smile😂
So glad to see you happy with the gifts you got in the mail, you really deserve it all, and your personality and way makes good things come back to you!!👍
Sarah, you really have the most beautiful smile. I loved when you were driving the TT, you had the biggest smile on your face! Good job, keep up the great work!
Hey Sarah! Just a quick tip with your brake pads wear indicator! Just cut and connect the wire together.. not need any resistors... its on cose You have an open circuit... Easy to solve ;)
High flow dp is known for throwing a code and sometimes you can get it to go away by using a stand off to get the wide band O2 sensors to stop sensing too much O2 in the exhaust gases, some owners actually have to use an aftermarket tune file specifically for getting rid of the O2 sensors check Engine code, it can be a real pain in the squeaking squeaker , hope this helps.
good to see you smile when the TT made boost - you could hear the turbo spool thru the straight out pipe - loud as!. just back from the states, didn't realise you guys called potato gems 'tato tots' (well they did in portland anyway) - instantly thought of teeter tot when they said that.
The DEI stuff is expensive, but it does work. You could wrap the exhaust with their products to help prevent the heat from transferring to the other components too, I use that on motorcycles to help prevent the heat from getting to my leg. It is a leverage extender, not a pump handle.
Fun to watch the TT coming along, and even more that you're doing it yourself. I love Audis and always envied the guy I used to work with that had a TT... just not practical to haul a dog around in!
I have an 01 MK1. Half of the engine cover hardware was missing on mine too. There are some cool kits on various websites but they are expensive. I built a kit for 11.00 from the local hardware store. If you go the hardware store route, don't forget to will need new clips for the new screws. Good luck.
I use Torque on my phone for my 2002 Altima, sometimes I have to select special settings/options and check the box for "Renault RPM ECU bug work around" and sometimes I have to uncheck it! No idea why, I never looked into it. This may help you for future builds.
saw the hydraulic line flaring tool during the mail portion of your video, those are fantastic flaring tools, and also very expensive, but well worth the price
I’m feeling you Sarah 3 years I’m doing yoga because the difficult (entrance - exit )of this car But I can’t live without a TT and the solution of my weakness for this car is a TT roadster it has more easy (in - out)
Nice job on the go-pro box! No we can see some good outside shots and maybe some awesome track time shots. I think your abs light is because the rear end is not hooked up yet. Once you get power to the back and clean the sensors in the back you should be golden. You have a lot of online support, kudoos. I think that's how you spell it.
Following your videos; like what you are doing. The two car build is a good idea. Could you start numbering the videos so we can ensure we are watching them in order? Sometimes I miss a video (in order) because I cant remember if I’ve watched it before.
You can bondo the tablet into the dash, and use it to show gauges. But if you use bluetooth, that makes your car remotely hackable. After you clear the check engine light, you have to drive 30 miles before it might come back.
Sounds like its your longitudinal or lateral acceleration sensor. If one of these are bad, it will throw the abs light on. Check the code once the abs light comes one and see what code comes up. had the same issue and once I changed it, it cleared it right up! Great content!!!!!!!!!! =)
Gopros!? Jesus lol could you toss one my way by chance. Use them wisely Sarah! Speaking of bomb lifts, we had heavies so first time we got them in the shop we had no idea why we couldn’t drive them for a good hour! Watching the old timers scratch their heads for a change was priceless.
The brake part or drive part that you are referring to with the holes that are read is called a reluctor ....check the abs unit it has pressure sensors built in . That may be the cause of the code.
VCDS is a very good product for diagnostics on Volkswagen. I'm also a MAC guy. But i have also an old 10 inch Windows 7 PC dedicated for that reason. That works nice.
OBDEleven is a bluetooth fault code reader specifically for volkswagen group cars you can buy. It also allows you to do some basic long coding. you should look into that if you're going to do any future work on your TT
Skelbagz this! Sarah get obdeleven pro it's the most cost effective OB scanner and and diagnostic tool for audi/vw... you can do so much more than get codes and clear codes with it... you can run calibrations and see live data on pretty much anything that gives an output
Sarah, you should check into installing Windows on your Macbook either through Boot Camp or something like VirtualBox/Parallels/VMWare Fusion... then you could run any diagnostic or tuning software you want (or any other Windows only programs you might want to use) without losing your editing capabilities or needing a separate laptop or tablet.
Agreed, Eric. Thanks for noticing that. I've used one of these for years and it always makes perfect flares. That's why I decided to send one out to her. We'll see how she does with it in a future chapter...
You had the "Vtec kicked in" face. Good job getting it running and clean. It looked slow as hell the first two drives but when you installed the hose, it looked like a different car. Have fun with it. Any plans on how to fix the awd?
I use Torque app if you have an android device it works good. There is a free one and a pay one I think for $4.99. The pay one you can estimate your 0-60 and 1/4 mile times and horsepower to wheels.
Great Vid Sarah and guest Sarah lol. You should totally have sponsors to get those projects on the track Racing B-) Also have you entered the Hoonigan driver search? You would be a great person to have on the team Plus you could win a Rally car.
You will need to clean the rust off the chopper wheel that the ABS sensor reads against. Until then, its just going to build up the magnet till then. If you have an air power grinder with a cup brush would work the best. Thanks for the cool channel!
If you think it’s got beans now just wait til you’ve got a remap on it. Low-mid range torque is great on the 1.8t when it’s got some decent boost going through it. Ps. You’re a little scary with that multi tool! 😄
Hey sarah i love your channel your very inspiring especially since im a woman and own a tt as well! Keep the vids coming i learn so much from you. I just recently installed a forge 008 on my car. Im loving the boost its giving me but I've also noticed a small high pitch whine coming from my Turbo any idea what this could be? I'm driving a 2002 Audi TT Quattro using a Greenspring in the Forge oo8. I've been thinking of making my own RUclips channel content and uploading but I think about you and it would be the total opposite of yours things probably wouldn't go as smoothly more bloopers than anything LOL
you keep getting the abs light ive had that problem on my mk4 and i replaced all 4 wheel speed sensors still kept coming on so i sand down the little brass part down just so the sensor is sitting closer to the tone wheel and that worked for me give it a try (:
bluetooth dongle will work with android software torque pro plus and vcds will only work with windows ooops with the audi you have to have WINDOWS!!! check the pawn shop for a small laptop just for the tt good luck !!! VAG enthusiasts will always help !!!!!! love the geek tyme classes too :P !!!!!!!! keep up the great vids
People spend more money on you than I do on myself 😂 it's suprising how much some people are willing to give to people like you who give us awesome content. And I'm not talking bad about it I'm just saying I'm surprised by it sometimes.
Sarah -n- Tuned I would like to be able to do the same but for such a relatively small channel you must have a lot of darn great people on it. Willing to use their hard earned money to support awesome people like yourself and get you things to help make more content better and easier without as much issue of parts store runs for tools. Some channels seem to only get hate even though they are relatively big even but even for the couple haters you have you have some really nice ones as well that blow me away with how nice or generous they are sometimes.
For me, the decision to send stuff to Sarah was really easy. I've been an auto mechanic all my life and have made a really good living at it. I figured that it's time for me to give back to the industry that's been so good to me. I'm also a tool nut, so sending out good tools to someone in need is a no-brainer, for me. We all want Sarah to flourish on her You Tube channel, so there are my reasons. Plain, simple and straightforward.
Stephen Moxley I understand why. It's just really nice to see people help others whether its Sarah with tools and parts to help make great content or someone needing a jump in a parking lot. I've jumped people who sat there for hours in the heat and had no one offer to help and its really disappointing. Also since you have automotive experience do you have a good cordless light recommendation for working on cars or trucks in the dark? Phone flashlight isn't working good enough lol
2:27 Forester Gump is out there like "One day it started raining, and it didn't quit for four months. We been through every kind of rain there is. Little bitty stingin' rain, and big ol' fat rain, rain that flew in sideways, and sometimes rain even seemed to come straight up from underneath."
But trough it all he was only thinking of one girl, Jenny.. Lol
SweetComaBlack straight up underneath damn needed an undercarriage wash. I don’t need to see dirt flying off. Looks weird😂
SweetComaBlack hahahah I see rain at least I don’t like dry skin or lips 😂😂
Sarah, more Forester gump content plz!
Big high five to the grumpy old man!
Awww...Sarah was crying on pure happiness...now that's cute!
Got to love her!
I feel happy that there are woman doing mechanical things on RUclips. Thanks for being there!
Kudos to the one who sent the GoPro's!! Now we should get some good angles.
Kevin but I like the cleavage views and random ass views
Don't we already?
Now you have a new TT! (Tuner Tablet) Thank you Grumpy Old Man! Those GP's will help her so much!
Bring it back!!! I wanna see the rest of the TT project.
Two GoPros and an endoscope camera?
Oh gosh, I' m green with envy... you're a very lucky girl.
Love to see happy Sarah and little sarah too .
I like your video's. It's good clean car fun. Thank you for not cussing every other word like some YTer's do.
That's what I'm f*cking saying! About damn time.
I must confess... I actually drop F-bombs like commas off camera, lol. I am however, fully aware that people watch these videos with kiddos present, so I keep it somewhat professional in that sense.

Entertaining as always! That TT got some beans! Cheers from Italy and keep up the good work, you are the best!
I've had a crappy week at work. I just want to say thank you for brightening my day and my week with this video. Both Sarahs are awesome and if you were on Netflix I'd subscribe just for your channel.
Nice work Grumpy Old Man 👍👍
agree he did good job
AvE and Sara-N-Tuned. You are my favorite RUclips channels to watch and look forward to each week. It was nice to see you well up over some gifts as I can see from the reaction you really appreciate them. Love you guys.
When that boost kicked in, your reaction told the whole story.
Yep, you're like a car nut, but in like girl form. And that's pretty cool.
I know it put a smile on my face seeing her reaction to the boost. Hard not to get excited for someone when they fix something on their own.
How cool your AvE fans.. Canadians are very awesome when it comes to quips and made up words. Glad to see both Sarah's hanging out again... Looking forward to hopefully seeing the Riviera video..please be careful Sarah..stuffs tricky...
Yay for boost! Congrats! Rock on Sarah’s 🤓
Sarah, I'm glad you got the package I sent. I was a little concerned there, for a bit. But it's all in good hands now. Enjoy. Another great chapter, by the way.
Reaction face when boost kicked in... Priceless!!!😂
Sarah the small hose only carries vacuum to open the diverter valve, it doesn't matter if the vacuum air is hot or not.
Congrats on reaching another milestone. And we even got twice the Sarahness in one video!
Nice to see Sarah II show up for a minute, she makes me smile :) ..
I am so thankful you read all the mail! I am back home in CA and I must catch up with all of your videos. I hope you got my postcard. :) I am glad the TT is running like a champ!
Your expression when the TT kicked in some torque was classic.

not sure what you mean by that dude , you speaking your own language? lol
It's always fun to stop by to see what's up. Thanks for keeping us up to date.
Hey Sarah! Just a quick tip with your brake pads wear indicator! Just cut and connect the wire together.. not need any resistors... its on cose You have an open circuit... Easy to solve ;)
Watching from the UK and really enjoy the videos. Keep them coming.
Torque pro is the best one to use. I use it while I’m driving to monitor my car. It’s pretty accurate even over Bluetooth.
+10 Torque Pro with a Kiwi BT, I use a Kiwi BT 2, $54 on amazon.
+1 for torque pro!
+3 on TP..
Hope the "quattro" gets going soon also! Glad to see your having fun Sarah. And, I hope Sarah ST did well on her exams!!! Good to see her also.
Very fun watching your eyes widen when you give a car the beans. Hope the 67 Riv video gets sorted out. Great content as usual.
This was a particularly fun and touching upload. Thanks Sarah and Sarah 😂

Both teeter tot and mr dos are moving along well! Keep it up Sarah!!!

When this year is over, there needs to be a video compilation of your cute moments or a gif of it. 🤣
saw the hydraulic line flaring tool during the mail portion of your video, those are fantastic flaring tools, and also very expensive, but well worth the price
I request more of Little Sarah. She needs to guest star more often. Please! Thank you.
I’m feeling you Sarah
3 years I’m doing yoga because the difficult (entrance - exit )of this car
But I can’t live without a TT and the solution of my weakness for this car
is a TT roadster it has more easy (in - out)
Love the Lip Bites when you're accelerating! Go, Teeter Tot, GO!
Hey little Sarah like your phone much lol. Love seeing you two :)
Nice job on the go-pro box! No we can see some good outside shots and maybe some awesome track time shots. I think your abs light is because the rear end is not hooked up yet. Sarah good work on the cars your funny as well I'm a ASE certified technician you know your stuff keep up the great work
Pretty sweet to see the TT build boost! And that you were in the Air Force. Me too!
it's amazing how many times i've left tools and bolts under the hood and didn't notice for weeks. Magically, they never move
Sarah I found a 1982 Audi ur quattro with 24,00 miles.Suctionrd 2yrs ago not sold. Its in Hunterfon county NJ.
Following your videos; like what you are doing. The two car build is a good idea. Could you start numbering the videos so we can ensure we are watching them in order? Sometimes I miss a video (in order) because I cant remember if I’ve watched it before.
Well, I am about 2 years late on this video but nice to see you working on the TT.
I never thought to try and clean the abs sensors, I just kept replacing them. Well, I'm not a smart man. Thanks for the tip.
You were right about it being referred to as a diverter valve and not a BOV; especially there being a MAF sensor.
Adam’s products are great and they have amazing customer service.
you got good taste in music that's for sure, all your videos have good tunes
You can bondo the tablet into the dash, and use it to show gauges. But if you use bluetooth, that makes your car remotely hackable.
After you clear the check engine light, you have to drive 30 miles before it might come back.
Sarah your videos are great

The brake part or drive part that you are referring to with the holes that are read is called a reluctor ....check the abs unit it has pressure sensors built in . That may be the cause of the code.
Thank you love for the shoutout! Keep up the great job ily
Hey Sarah, enjoyed the video. Bummer the test drive footage crapped out, I'd love to see you driving older cars too.
I totally dig the glasses on you. Great job on the TT!!
VCDS is a very good product for diagnostics on Volkswagen. I'm also a MAC guy. But i have also an old 10 inch Windows 7 PC dedicated for that reason. That works nice.
I found you through the TT project. Loving your content. Can you do a 2.7T (C5 would be perfect but B5 would be fine also) in the future?
Yay .. the bars hath arrived!! I almost put a company shirt in the box ... but all I had was a XL .. lol
ET PHONE HOME!!,
Lmfao that Texas clip 😂😂,
Awesome video Sarah!!!!!!!!
Really awesome gifts that tubing flare kit is awesome.
Agreed, Eric. Thanks for noticing that. I've used one of these for years and it always makes perfect flares. That's why I decided to send one out to her. We'll see how she does with it in a future chapter...
I've used mine a few times and it works well.
good man
Another Awesome & Educational Video! You're Fans Really Hooked You Up! So Happy For You And Your Awesome Channel! 😎🔧
You had the "Vtec kicked in" face. Good job getting it running and clean. It looked slow as hell the first two drives but when you installed the hose, it looked like a different car. Have fun with it. Any plans on how to fix the awd?
For VW/AUDI, OBDEleven is awesome! Comes with its own OBD2 Dongle and will allow coding also. Works great!!!
Sarah for the abs light it might be a bad wheel bearing check for excessive play or it might be the ones with the excess rust .
Merry Christmas my favorite mechanic
You put a new meaning to exhaust hanger.
DEI also makes a thin heat wrap...not so expensive . It is more like a foil wrap. Check it out.
11:20 That sparkle in her eyes when she gives it the beans.
There is a Stock wrap that goes around the Turbo to the Charge pipe.
Nice fifth element reference. You’re weird af and I love it lol
i enjoy watching your show, u have giving me some new ideas for my audi.. keep up the awesome work. thank you :)
I use Torque Pro. Great app and provides tons of info.
I always get a kick out of you biting your bottom lip when your "giving a car the beans". You look so happy!!
Jared Anthony I can relate, I always said if I was rich I would use my wealth to help people and surprise them with things when they least expect it.
Jared I like the Astro Tools 40 SL. It works great. I'm thinking about ordering another.
It's like your birthday every time it's mail time! Yay!!! Lol! I'll have to think of what to send you. Hmmm!
Some VAG cars have bad solder joints inside the ABS pump. That's how I fixed mine.
I use my VCDS software on my MacBook Pro by running a windows virtual machine using VMWare. It sounds intimidating, but it’s really pretty easy.
