    This video was extremely helpful in identifying a cone snail fossil! I recently purchased a collection of Florida fossil shells about the same size as yours. All had species ID and collection locality, except of course for an oddly sinistral cone snail. Thanks for providing this info!

    I have found several conus adversarius shells! As well as many other shells like displayed here, and yes, these shells made me more interested in invertebrate paleontology.
