    do you try graphene nano flakes as nanoantennas to boost efficency?

    How do you prepare the electrolyte? What compose it?

    • @malikkuldeep
      @malikkuldeep 2 года назад

      They used Iodide and triiodide solution which act as a electrolyte . It loses electron give it back to dye and regenerate it .

    I would suggest to silk screen print the TiO2 paste on the surface of the conductive glass to obtain an uniform layer of the photoanode material

  • @bobmarley9504
    @bobmarley9504 8 лет назад

    How do you make sure that the titanium dioxide coating doesn't shatter when the dye is applied?

    • @enomis34
      @enomis34 6 лет назад

      Because you have sintered the structure previously. You now have a compact porous layer of TiO2 which doesn't dissolve etc in organic solutions

    Just guide me why you cover the slide with graphite? And was that FTO slide or simple glass slide

    Hey, can you tell about the heating temperature to make paste adhesive on conducting glass

    • @enomis34
      @enomis34 6 лет назад

      It's usually an heating program like 325 (5min) 375 (5 min) and 450 (30 min) to obtain the sintering of the titania particles

      No. One side must be conductive.

    As important as the voltage is the current. Together they define the power of the cell. Just put a known load (a resistor) and measure the current in series. Then we can have an idea.

    Yes, we've used food coloring to build these cells. Email me at malkiat.johal@gmail.com if you would like a copy of a thesis that investigates FDA approved food dyes in DSSCs. Thanks.
