I totally relate to your birth story! Especially at the end where you say that you literally have no where else to look except God when you are in the agonizing pain of child birth. I had the same experience, and honestly it’s changed me in so many ways and has lead me to stop being a lukewarm Christian and instead be on fire for God. God bless you and your beautiful family, mama ❤
This is like THE birth story of all birth stories. Absolutely love what you said at the end, God is clearly using you as a voice to speak into the lives of other women. Thank you so much for sharing your story. I have my second baby any day now and I'm trying to go natural after having back labor with my first and immediately giving up. I went through the cascade of interventions that led to a c section. Very textbook story of what can go wrong for some women when going the epidural/on your back route. Your words have given me comfort and have inspired me to truly trust God with this birth and not be so concerned with trying to control it.
You have such a talent for storytelling, Celest! I watched the reel, I read the posts, and if you did another pod with Austin’s perspective like with B I truly don’t think I’d get sick of hearing it (that’s NOT a request or pressure by any means, it’s just to prove a point. I am PLENTY grateful that you share what you do). I love how each time you get to process more and reveal new insights. The suffering parallel is such a good one and in a world full of painkillers and conflict avoidance (Enneagram 9 🙋🏻♀️), it seems increasingly rare to find those who consciously stare suffering and intensity in the face and say “Bring It.” You’re an absolute gem!
Thank you so much for sharing your birth story, Celest 💛. Your videos are always such an encouragement to me, and I love the parallel between the suffering of a woman during childbirth and Jesus' suffering for us on the cross. Congratulations again on baby Theo. He is absolutely precious 💙. I pray continued peace and protection over your sweet little family 🙏.
Congratulations on your sweet little love💛 also, I just wanted to say, that analogy that you shared about how Jesus went through that agonizing pain that we could be reborn and how that is so similar to child birth, just wow. Never thought of it that way but it’s so so encouraging! Thank you for sharing♥️🤗
the way you explained birth at the end was so beautiful and truly transformative for others who walk with christ but aren’t sure as to why they feel such a big pull to do a natural, god’s way, birth. thank you so much for that. god bless, always🫶🏼
Your birth story w/ Theo gives me so much hope for my second birth. My first one was almost identical to yours (back labor, mental prep that turned into just lots of fear from pain, etc), but I ended up having to go to the hospital & got a c-section 😢 I pray my second time around (not pregnant rn but when that time comes) will be much different. Thank you so much for sharing such a vulnerable experience 💕 congrats to you & your family 😊
Lol @ the dog vomit. Terrible. Oh, i love how you ' compared' Jesus suffering on the cross to child birth. Beautiful! Thanks for sharing, live. Glad you are well ❤ I love the long video btw.
Thanks for sharing your birth story! I have been following you since your first and feel like I relate more with you and your lifestyle than any of the other RUclipsrs I follow. It is cray because I had my second baby just a couple days after you had Theo! It was 3 weeks early for me and mine was also so different than my first. I went into my 36 week appointment and I was 6 cm dilated. Didn’t go into labor that week which was crazy but at my 37 week appointment they checked again and now I was 7cm! Couldn’t find any info on the internet with someone going through anything like it No Braxton Hicks contractions either. The next day I did go into labor and had a natural birth. It was so much slower and calmer and longer than my first. It was the easiest labor ever which I just want to share because I would get nervous and afraid at times thinking about last time but this time it was so easy for some reason. Anyway, thanks for sharing! Praying for you!
I love your view of the suffering aspect of birth! The pain turns into joy so quickly and how beautiful it is to remind us of the life we can have in Christ!
Same here it’s kind of a bummer that you have to live near a big city if you want to have the option of a birth center at least that’s the case where I live in Wisconsin
@@CelestRayanneMann I would love to try a home birth but no midwife will take me *for good reason* because I have to be on blood thinners during my pregnancies 😕
@@KayRang what area are you from? Closest one to me would be probably Appleton. I think there’s a “birth center” attached to a hospital in Oshkosh but I’ve heard bad stories from there
Yes! Our Lord got me through all of my births. I made him promises that I have been able to keep because that’s how much it means to me that he put me through the pain. He is just amazing to us. He loves us so much. ❤️
Celeste you look amazing! Theo is so precious! Doesn't Bellamy seem so big now! He is so sweet! So happy for you & Austin! ❤ 👣👣❤️ Praying for everything you & Austin are facing.❤️🙏❤️
Your labor experiences were very similar to mine. My first one was a very fast extremely painful back labor ..OUCH. and then my last two we're very quick. My daughter just had a very fast birth at a birthing center here in Wisconsin . Excellent experience. Congratulations
Your labor is so similar to how mine with my 2nd was!! It was all over the place the contractions were 7min then just stopped when I napped and then 3min…they didn’t get consistent for me until I was literally about to push. Pregnant with my 3rd and I’m so interested to see how it will be!!
The dog puke that hits hard. We have 3 dogs and a cat and they always choose the worst time 🤣🤣 congrats mama. About to start trying for baby number 2 and loving watching these right now.
So happy that you had a smooth labor and delivery. I have my second baby in 1 1/2 months and I’m praying constantly that I have a good labor and recovery. My first was traumatic because I was ready to push and the doctor wasn’t around and I had to wait forever it was torture! This time I know better. If my body says pushing I’m pushing.
I loved listening to your birth story so much! I relate to so much of how your labor went and even the fainting part lol I’m a bit fainty after I deliver my babies too! So happy for you!!
@Celeste, I pray that the Lord gives you strength and peace. Strength to do what needs to be done and peace to know that everything's okay and you don't have to worry.
My water didn’t break until 5 minutes into pushing and before then, my water breaking actually never crossed my mind 🤣 it would’ve been bad bad it broke on the way to the hospital in the car

Could you see if there are midwives in your area and you could just do a homebirth? Or hire a doula and midwife to be at your hospital birth!
@@mahrieaderksen same. They are all Milwaukee or Madison!

This was so helpful! I’m planning on an unmedicated birth right now for my second. Thank you for sharing.
What a wonderful testimony of suffering just as our Savior suffered for us. Congratulations on your new baby boy 💙🙏
I've never thought of it this way, thank you for this comment ❤
Yass I’m living for it 🎉
I love the analogy between Christ’s suffering to birth the Church and a mother’s suffering to bring a new child into the world.

Just wanted to say congratulations!! Continued prayer for your family ❤ also I absolutely love your hair in this video!
Would you be open to sharing your birth playlist? I would love to see some examples of good worship music as I prepare for labor!
You are a midwife’s Dream! ❤

Oh my gosh! My son is 13.5 months and I had a natural birth with my son and I passed out the first time I stood up after having him!
Means what happened?
How are you
