    6:02, I don’t think writers are a bad thing, Kanye used writers and credited them and no one had a problem. Just when people like Drake pay writers and claim it as his own, that’s the problem.

    • @TheIronWristFighters
      @TheIronWristFighters 4 года назад +36

      100% Kanye is a collaborator. Drake is a clout chaser. Ye could have come up to you and asked what you thought of the line 'no man should have that power'? Then you say what about 'no one man should have all that power'? And you would get a lyricist credit. I hate drawing parallels but that's more generous than Drake's been most of his life. Exposure is more powerful than money.

    • @gmodfan53

    This is quite a timely video, as I've been trying to get into this album aswell, and I've got to a similiar point as you! I'm really enjoying the organic and funky beats but it seems like such a complex record (I'll probably have to have a listen dedicated to thinking about the lyrics), that I think listening in small chunks is more palatable for me at the moment. See you on the next part of the adventure!

    Hey, as it costs a lot of money for you to buy vinyls for your first listen, you should start a Patreon page. If a few people gave you a quid each that'd keep the videos going.

    The Michael Jackson comparisons were unexpected but spot on. Kendrick is really innovating on that level. Once you get to the last track the comparison is even stronger.

    I just found your channel and love the reactions, I just randomly thought it’d be cool if you actually did the research on what you’re curious about like you mentioned at 5:53, as someone who probably knows everything out there about kendrick, it’d be awesome to see someone as interesting as yourself going down the rabbit hole haha
