I am really impressed!!!! the amount of declutters I have watched where the palettes have never been used, or the creator states they've finished this one and it has barely a dip in one or 2 shades.....but You!! You have real holes, those palettes have been Used!! They really got to Live and Shine!! Were really loved and worn.... I am IMPRESSED👍👍👍👍👍❤❤❤
I feel the same way about the Odin's eye jewels and gems and also the sigma shadows. Some of the shimmer shades are amazing but others are just meh. They are really inconsistent.
I just watched another RUclipsr using an Oden's Eye palette. The shimmery eyeshadow was dry too. She was about to declutter it. She dug it up a little bit and the pressed it back. I guess that "reactivated" the oils and that fixed the eyeshadow.
Yes, get an Ensley Reign Palette! I absolutely love mine and I have 3 Pat McGraths and 7 Natasha Denona. I love my Ensley Reign so so much more then any others. The Matt’s are rich and buttery soft, with so much saturation. The shimmers are explosive wit holo’s and multichromes and blinding shimmers. Just make sure to wait till they have the color story you really want and use a discount code.
A quarter of the way in and we have almost the same collection. 🤭 The OE Jewels & Gem is basically the same story as Cosmic Cooltrals, so it may come down to which formula you prefer. I feel similar about Sigma; for me the mattes seem to overblend. Gloss Gods looks incredible…that Venus palette looks you’re INSIDE a sunset! I love that you empathize that you are having fun with your eyeshadows! We shouldn’t stress about our hobbies. Good for you!
The bright blue eyeshadow would be really cool to do an accent with eyeliner like slightly going over the black eyeliner if you do top liner. Or using it as under eye for a pop of color with a natural or tan eye look.
I feel your pain with Oden's eye 🥲. I love thair packaging and colour stories but 8/10 times their shimmers hard pan on me. Sometimes as soon as after 1st or 2nd use. And their mats are inconsistent. I own Solemane II (from last year) and the mats that are there are unmatched in my entire collections, extremely good quality. The rest of the palletes I bought afterwards (Trick and Treat with Angie and both the restock of the old winter palettes) were so-so. Kinda 50-50 on the quality and each shade felt different...😢. I just don't wanna put money to the brand when I am unsure about what i am getting
Yeah, I’m glad it’s not just me! 😅 I love their vision and they make some really stunning colors but I feel like they can be dry and difficult to work with. I have the Giant Wolves and the Urd…I’ve actually got quite a bit of use out of the Urd palette but I feel like the individual shadows are very hit or miss.

Great declutter, I appreciate your perspectives I think you’ll enjoy Ensley Reign shadows, they’ve become some of my favorites! It’s weird that mold is such an issue, I’m in Florida where it’s hot and humid and I don’t have those same mold issues. I have air conditioning though so our temp is pretty to steadfast. I hope you figure out what’s causing it!
Have you tried putting silica packets in with your palettes? That might help to keep them dry. Alcohol will kill bacteria but it doesn’t do anything for mold unfortunately
Good idea! Charcoal briquettes wrapped loosely in a paper towel absorb well, too. A cigar humidor would work, too, depending on sizing… ok perhaps overthinking on that!
This excited me when I saw it on my homepage! I remembered your Gloss Gods palettes from last year and I had to see them again 😍😍 They are all beautiful! But the Jupiter really punched me in the gut and it's still available 🎉 I have the Batman palettes from Revolution. The original Batman and the Dangerous Love and I was actually pleasantly surprised with the quality. I've decluttered a lot of Revolution. But I kept those. I miss BH too 😢 I loved seeing ALL of your palettes. They all look so loved and that makes me so happy!
aw thank you so much! revolution is definitely hit and miss which is why i only have one left but wouldn't rule out buying more if it was the right packaging / colour story, i can't resist sometimes 😂
yes! I also am not an oden's eye fan. Ive even used their newer palettes. the shadows are so oily they leak and go rancid so fast. I have powders that are 5+ years old and ive had to toss some OE palettes after 1-2 years
For the what's up beauty Monsoon, my friend Sarah (alreadyshoppedit) here on youtube made a video recently using the blue in the palette and her look turned out beautiful!
Wow, the shades you said you don't use on that last ABH palette are the ones I would have used first. How funny. I wish more cosmetics companies would come out with 'build your own' palettes so that no color would go to waste.
I love the packaging of the CP Aurora Struck palette so much but most of the shades are meh in quality or too dark, so I’m considering putting other CP shades in it. Haven’t made the jump yet, but it’s on my mind.
It looks like you could make your own aurora struck palette from the depotted shades you have and the ones you like from the actual palette. In terms of formulas going off, I have seen talk about brands using less effective preservatives due to influence of clean beauty
I was thinking the same thing about redoing that palette with her singles. ❤ My Nomad palettes haven’t had that issue, and I have most of them, haven’t had that issue so it sounds like the humidity is a real problem. It doesn’t look nice but maybe storing them in an airtight plastic tub with charcoal or silica is the best way to go? I assume moving is not an option? 😂🌵🏜️☀️
