Hey guys! Thank you so much for stopping by my channel and checking out my videos. I am so thankful to all of you. This is an unboxing channel. I unbox a ton of subscription boxes and I may sprinkle in a few different kinds of videos in between the unboxings. I started this channel because I needed a outlet. As a recovering addict I needed a place that could help me keep my mind busy as well help me be more confident in myself. Being sober is hard but being in active addiction was harder. I am so thankful to be where I am today. I am thankful to my husband, my kids and to all of u that have helped me through so much stuff. You may not know about all the things I go through and I know I don’t share everything but I am human just like you and my struggles are real. Thank you for being a part of my channel and thank you for staying with me. I hope I can be a place that you can come to for a break, a laugh or for just mindless entertainment.💛💛

@@AmberMillerWestalabamawitch I guessed 500. I know how many palettes I have doing YT for 3 years and Abby has done it for 6 years plus she gets PR and had more subscriptions than me. I was surprised she only had 184 palettes.

I’m almost halfway through your video and I wanted to tell you I’m so proud of you and your progress of letting go. I am someone who tends to keep stuff and my husband like yours explained why I don’t need to hang onto everything. And give to someone who will enjoy it if I’m not. Good job!!

I just did a huge declutter. I put all the maybe, need to try in a a basket and I'm trying something in that basket everyday, I've rediscovered some amazing products that I completely forgot about and I have been able to get rid of anything that doesn't work for me. My collection is getting more and more curated and it has brought me so much more joy doing my makeup in the mornings because everything is organized and I don't have to dig through drawers of crap to find something... Lol...

I was pretty close with 136. I couldn't have given up the jeffree star pallets I use them a lot. But like you the hip dot and the ace beauty scarlet dusk are hands down two of my favorites.

I love the Hudson remastered the shimmers are so girly and creamy I've had mine forever and it's still good!

I have the Tarteist Pro palette. I think i got it in a subscription box. I open it up and look at it, smell it, and then put it away. I have been doing that for 3 years. Lol. Have I put it on my eyes yet? Nope. 😂

Oh my goodness! You spoke to my soul about the anxiety and having an attachment to everything. I totally remember LiveGlam and the Morphe brush subscription. I got way too many brushes that I will never use through that subscription. Lol

Hey! I’m sure you know this but I make my own lip glosses from palettes I bought an empty palette from Amazon and just make all cool shades and mix with coco butter or Vaseline. I also paint my nails with the eyeshadow!
That is amazing!! Just using Vaseline? Or other ingredients as well?
Feel like I’m walking down memory lane since I’ve received so many of these in subs too. Really sweet how you kept the palette JUSTANNE gave you ❤ I’m ordering those new color pop palettes. In my defense, I got rid of over 150 in the past six months

I tried. I also haven’t put any of them back into my makeup area yet since I got rid of where k stored the palettes. I got a new cabinet to put them in and it won’t fit all of them so now I have to go through them again.
I totally get the attachment to things and the sentimental value issue. I’m kind of hoping my memory will fade and I can more easily let go of things. I’ve never heard of a declutter before-interesting! You seem really down to earth! Great video.😊
It is really hard to let go of stuff. Everything always has a special meaning to me, even makeup. My husband keeps me at bay or I think I would never let anything go. He really helps me with that. I actually understand how people can fill their houses with stuff because I truly believe I would if my husband didn’t help me with that.

Good job Abby! Looked painless cept for all the times you pinched yourself, hee hee. That was so much fun to watch. The KKW Camo is my favorite. I love green, Lunar Beauty Nude Prism is my go to everyday palette, and I love my Tresluce La Flor de Mexico & the I AM full size palettes, not the minis. I also LOVE the Melt Cosmetics Love & Mariposas, of course like you.... All my Colourpop. I have a problem, I know... I just love Colourpop shadows.

Regarding the White Peach palette - no, it was not considered good and most people found it too light and chalky, it wasn’t well liked in its time.

The one pallet that I have that I will never get rid of is the Anastasia, Beverly Hills and Jackie Aina palette. I have hit pants on so many of the shades and I really wish that the last time I saw it I would’ve gotten another one because it is absolutely a favorite.

Eye shadow palette declutters are my favourite. I will never get rid of my Tati pallet and my Natasha Denona Biba palette.
I selfishly wish I was one of those people in your family that are getting some of your pallets, because there's a few of them I've been really wanting to add to my collection. I've been on a no buy since January of last year, so it's been difficult.

I gave one of my granddaughters my Maybelline lemonade craze palette & I've regretted it lol. The mattes are actually smooth & blendable, BUT some of those shimmers are next level for drugstore.
This is gonna sound funny, but I remember when I was getting boxy charm and Ipsy boxes on a regular basis and one month it was guaranteed to get the too faced Palm Springs palette as a choice item if you selected it…and I of course selected it, but didn’t get it and they apologized for me not getting it…saying that they ran out or whatever. Anyway… about a year later I wound up purchasing this palette from somebody off of Poshmark because I just “had to have it” still in my mind. I had been thinking about it for months and the price was good… It was a brand new palette and it wound up sitting in my make up drawer for close to a year before I even used it. To this day, I literally have only swatched it on my arm and never actually used it on my eyes. That just goes to show how little the significance of my make up is how saturated the market is nowadays. We think we want it…but do we really? How often are we really gonna use it? Foundation, powder, eyeliner….maybe an eyebrow pencil….that’s a little different. You go through that faster…but an eyeshadow palette……SMH!!! I think i have Maybe 20-25 that have multiple panned eyeshadow pans in them. The rest just sit in a drawer and collect dust and come out maybe once or twice a year. It’s so sad to admit this honestly.

Hi Abby Happy Valentine's Day I'm going to say 700
I became an eyeshadow palette hoarder in 2020 due to the pandemic. I’ve since sold over 150 eyeshadow palettes that were brand new and never used and I have over 75+ that are gently used that I’m not using that I don’t know what to do with. I spent so much money on these that I’d like to get 300-400$ for them, but not sure peoples thoughts on used makeup. A lot of these are literally only swatched and some shades in a lot of palettes aren’t even swatched. I just can’t give ‘em away for nothing though. I’d rather hold onto them I suppose cuz I don’t know how to put used makeup on a site. I always thought it was weird when I saw people posting used makeup on Craigslist/poshmark/etc. 🤦🏼♀️ almost think I’d be a hypocrite doing so. 🤷🏼♀️
Oh girl I feel this comment! I feel the same way! The reason why I kept palettes that I swatched but didn’t use is because I feel weird selling them or doing a giveaway with them. Would I buy a used palette? No, so how could I sell them. It’s a loss of money because we spend our money on them but especially since the pandemic started it is a little weird to sell a used palette. So I give them to my family members or friends. I sanitize them as best as I can but they are still used.
People will be light used it swatched on Poshmark and Mercari.
You can definitely sell them with no problem! Most eyeshadow palette I own I bought used and lightly swatched and I also sold a bunch myself.
Don’t forget you might give the chance for someone to own a palette they’ve always wanted and can’t afford especially now in this economy where everything is crazy expensive. I used to sale on Poshmark a lot and I made a lot of money selling makeup I didn’t want anymore.Its always fun to recuperate some of the money I spent on things I never even used.😅 Lot of people don’t care if it’s used as long as it’s in good condition,absolutely no shame in doing that😉
