Something that I've found helpful in saving time is organizing my files properly up front. Naming layers properly and using groups for certain assets is really helpful if I want to resize elements, try different colors or highlight a screenprinted area for a manufacturer. I was recently working on a design that required various complicated screen printed areas, and I ended up having to spend a lot of time reworking the file so that the manufacturer could tell exactly where the screen print was compared to the rest of the pin. Could've saved myself a lot of trouble if I followed my own advice!
I've searched and searched on youtube and cant find any videos on this... can someone please do a video on designed pins based on showing off the metal as a feature in the design. so less enamel colours and more of the metal in the design??
Hi! I am new to illustrator and making pins. I did a vector recently and was wondering if my outlines and colors should all be in separate files or if it does not matter. I included in the vector the front and back faces of the pin and I included the pantone colors as well as where I wanted the clutches to be. Is that enough for the manufacturers to work with?

That's great advice! Just a little bit of extra time in set up and save sooooo much time later on!
Have you tried using Adobe Fresco to design your pins or for anything else? They have vector and non vector brushes.

Thanks for the tips! Where can we find the template?
Hi! I just added it to the description! Thank you for letting me know it wasn't there!
