This song is pretty old, it was first composed in 2013 and I kinda forgot its existence until I stumble upon it by accident, so I figured I would do a remake of this song. For those interested, here is the original :

Finally. Elven music! Peter. Saying thanks for inspiring me, even in 100 languages, cannot describe this feeling. Composing music is one of my things but with your music, not only the inspiration but also that it gave me motivation to start more hobbies. Hopefully one day I'll be a music composer just like you. I don't care what the other people say to me. Your determinating music saved my life. I literally can't make any sense on what I'm typing because of this nostalgic rather epic feeling
You’re one of the most underrated composers I know. It’s easy to see how much you love composing just from hearing one song. Every time you upload a new song I fall in love with it immediately. Every one of your songs is a masterpiece in its own way. If your music was to be put in a film or game id watch/play it just for the music. Seeing how much you’ve improved over the years is amazing. Never lose your passion for composing.
Remakes are so nice. U can rlly see the improvement. Pls make the soundtrack for a game one day

There's a disconnect between the song and its title for me. Where does this 'once' come from? What happened between you and the angel? Where is the pain? Should there not be pain? Can good things really be severed without it?

So i did the thing again.
Clicked this video, looked at the wallpaper, read the title and closed my eyes. Now it's time for my imagination to do it's job.
I met a girl, she is gorgeous, white long hair, in a white dress. We had a great time together. Some months later she told me she is an angel, and she showed me her wings. Ofcourse, this beauty, this warm soft feeling she radiates, i feel very welcomed and whole when i'm with her. She then asked me if i wanted to see where she came from. I didn't hesitate, i wanted to see it. She grabbed me by the waist and we went up. It was difficult with her small wings but i completely trusted her. We reached the clouds and i saw a golden glow. The closer we got, the brighter and warmer it was, until i couldn't see anymore. And then, i suddenly saw grass, a single tree and one tiny house made out of marble. "Where are we?" I asked. But while i asked the question, i noticed this was all on a cloud and lost my balance and fell. But it didn't hurt. The cloud we were standing on was soft, hard enough to stand on but soft enough to not hurt yourself. We spend a lot of time there, then she said "This is my place, i can create everything here and you can too." She waved her arms, as if she was dancing, guiding the clouds in a shape, until it solidified into marble. It was a bench, we sat down and she told me to make something. I tried it but nothing happend, then her smile faded from her face. "It must be because you're not an angel." Reality hit me "That's right, i'm just a human, i don't belong here." is what i thought. I saw her sad face and tried to lift her spirits. "Can't i become one then?" Her eyes opened, she knew of a way, it was against the rules but it could work. The told me the plan, but she didn't say anything about the rules. The plan was to join a gathering of the circle. It's where angels are together and listen to the higher ups. But we must be connected somehow. So we brainstormed on how we should stay connected. We couldn't touch each other because the gathering was so set up that there's space between angels. We couln't use a rope because it was obvious and someone might trip over it. I told her about technology from earth that can connect with each other, but it was a long shot. Bluetooth. A long shot indeed, but the only shot. The next gathering, i would join in clothes she made for me and we were to execute our plan. A week later it was time. We went to the gathering and did what we needed to do. It was nervewrecking, scary, and... warm, welcoming, familiair. As if i was at the dinnertable with my family when i was still a child. I felt at ease, i felt safe. And before i knew it, the gathering was over. She went to me and asked how i felt. I told her about it but other than that, i was just myself. We didn't know if it worked and wanted to see for ourselves. So we went to her place, she grabbed me and we flew off. Once there she told me again how to make something, how to use the angel ability. I wanted to make a bench as well. So I tried, but.. nothing. I closed my eyes, trying my best to hold back my tears. She was happy, she laughed and enjoyed the moment. Jumping and dancing "Look at your clothes! You made them yourself! You are an angel!" I opened my eyes and saw a matching outfit. I couldn't believe it, i joined her dance and we had fun the whole day. Months later we created our own little paradise. Our home. Until one day, thunder invaded our home and there she stood. The divine entity. She saw i was a fake angel, that i was a human. And that the angel was responsible. The divine entity calmly explained the rules, yes, it was calm, but it pierced your ears. Almost to the point of bleeding. She ripped the angels wings off and banished her to hell. But before she did that, she pushed me off the cloud. All i could do was fall as my feathers and clothes slowly fell apart. I screamed and yelled that i love her, my dear angel, but i also lost my voice. "Is this it? Am i going to fall to my death as my lovely angel is banished to hell? Did she know about the rules? Why didn't she tell me? Did she know i love her, angel or not?" And then... black. 36 Years later, in the present. I have my own family, my lovely wife, 2 children and a dog. We live on a hill in a small town. The people are nice. And the view is amazing, especially at night when the stars shine the brightest. Whenever i look up i will always remember The Angel I Once Loved.
That was a wild ride!!! What music can do to you! 10/10, i enjoyed it very much! The story is what my imagination made up when i listened to your music. Thank you very much.
