I love love these very individualized pieces…. The glossy covering reminds me of using resin. Besides gel prints, I wonder whatever DIY coverings can be used. You definitely have an eye for mix & matching prints…

this clay gets as hard as the kind that would be fired in a kiln? amazing! can it be hard enough to sell as jewellery? it wont break??
I can't say it won't ever break but it doesn't break easy. It is sturdier than some materials they use for jewelry.
I missed something. What did you put on the rice paper to make the colors?
The paper I used was printed on a gel plate with acrylics. I have lots of videos showing the techniques I use on mine. This video shows the basic process...

Polymers clay would work as well. Would be more expensive but it would work
I was wondering if it would. I have seen some incredible jewelry pieces made from polymer.
You can actually pull your print with raw polymer clay, that gives lots of choicrs in term of composition 😊
