Does the baby oil affect subsequent pulls?

This is so Cool! I actually got pencil accidentally onto my gelli plate and found out the hard way about needing baby oil to get it off! But when I tried to see if it would transfer, it didn't. Soo....is it only the water soluble graphite that transfers? I just found your channel and look forward to watching more. Thanks so much!

Great video - thanks! I’ve been trying to both figure out what to do with all of my gel prints…and for something to add to my products at markets I’m doing. I’m thinking that it might be easier to glue the blanks down first and then cut them out? Also - a Dremel or other rotary tool would come in handy for buffing the edges (and sanding the finding hole!) Lots of ideas you’ve given me - thank you!

I would recommend Sketchbox over Scrawlrbox for you simply because you live in the US. For anyone living in the EU or UK, I’d recommend Scrawlrbox. Both companies typically have really great products. The only difference is the time and money for shipping.

The lack of in-box instructions is frustrating BUT they do have a RUclips channel where they explain how to use each supply and offer a tutorial using the supplies.

That set is so complete - the materials they send look cool. Of course, you always make the art part look easy. 😊

Is there any instructions on their website? I noticed one of those code things that you can scan at the bottom of the card, could try that. Those powders look very pigmented I mean I'm no expert or anything, but it looks like you only need the tiniest of bits...if so, these are gonna last a heck of a long time! Beautiful colours .... that purple when you mixed them... fantastic colour!

Graphite has produced best results for me with transfer. I like the variety of colours you have and your paper towel method to ensure best results,
