I love your routine. Mine is waking up between 4.30 and 5 AM. After drinking some lukewarm water I start my day with writing Morning Pages and journaling. Then do my Zhan Zhuang and QiGong exercises. Drink some tea and go outside walking. All in silence. I love the quiet of the morning, this is truly, as you say, my time.

I’ve been getting up earlier recently and especially the days I have to work I realize it makes me have less anxiety when I go to work because I’ve had time to get my mind right and get some things done before work. And even on my days off I still get up early now. Currently 6 AM but I’m going to try to get up even earlier. But it’s better than what it was. There is something cool being awake before most people and before the sun comes up. Or if I have to go somewhere walking through the city and it’s quiet and I get to reflect before my day really even starts. Anyway cool video. Who cares what the haters think. People hate on things that they can’t do themselves or are too scared to try.

Vacuum guy here. Get a second filter and alternate/change it out often for cleaning and complete drying (will take at least 2-3 days - in a dry place, but never direct sunlight). Stick vacuums will automatically shut off if/when the filter is even remotely clogged so that there's less risk of damage to the machine. Pet hair clogs filters quickly.
At what time at night do you need to go to sleep to start this early? To me this is a trade off between quiet work time late at night (i hard stop at 23:30) by waking up later or going to bed earlier to start at 04:00 Im curious to read what people think about that trade
You have more mental bandwidth after sleeping vs after a full day. Devoting that time of full bandwidth to yourself to start your day does wonders. Trust.

See these early wake up time routines! That’s amazing but it doesn’t really matter if you wake up at 5am or 9am! You’ll still need the same sleep as anyone else like a minimum of 7 hours so when you’re going to bed at 9 I’m going to bed at 2! Therefor your day still looks the same as mine so it doesn’t make sense to make up earlier! Just make the most of your time
Disagree. I feel like at least for me personally as a human I’m more aligned with the rhythm of the earth when I get up just before the sun and the whole world is asleep. You don’t have to deal with traffic, long lines, noise, etc. there’s something magical about it. You are right though you can always delegate your time but you can’t replicate the morning
