I'm in my late sixties now in age. I remember sixty years ago in 1964 going to my Aunt and Uncles wedding. My mother bought me brand new shoes to wear with my peg leg narrow trousers that were the style of the time. I wanted to remove them because they were of the winklepicker style. My toes were crushed up at the front , because they were very pointed toed. I have worn many different styles of footwear over the years. Platform shoes were popular in the early 1970s. Once again they weren't the most comfortable. Nowadays i wear what is comfortable because I do alot of walking. Interesting video , and i like your choices.

Boots ftw! Just love the proportions of a boot with some cropped or cuffed pants. I like goretex Salomon as a waterproof option. Usually more of a sneaker than boot vibe, but also makes them great for hiking, rainy days etc any season.

Just for your information, Thai food is eaten with a spoon and a fork, not chop sticks! 🤪 Next time you go to one of the Chiang Mail restaurants or order from them please ask them if they have Gang Hung Lay. It’s pronounced exactly like it looks to you as a native English speaker. It’s a pork curry dish that isn’t hot like Thai food normally is because it doesn’t contain chili, as far as I know. In Thailand you can get that dish only in the northern part and a few restaurants in Bangkok. It’s originally from Burma. An absolute must have! Best Thai dish in my book! Since Chiang Mai is a city and a province in northern Thailand you might get lucky and they have it. At the very least they’ll know what it is and might make it for you, if it’s not on their menu. Worth a try!

Get a nice heavy bookend made from bronze or something along the lines, like a gargoyle or a foo dog and put that in front of your vinyls to keep them from sliding.

I think you can utilize the underside of one or possibly more of your stairs in a way that could bring some interest to that area. You can use screw hooks and screw them into the bottom of the higher steps. You could even use fishing line to hang the mirror from the hook. I think that spot would look great with a plant floating under the stairs… something like a Stag-horn or Boston Fern for shape comparison.
