Its 4 am as I type this Been listening to Cole for almost 3 years, I am from India so I discovered him late, never really tried to explore his early albums was jsut hopping from Forest Hill Drive and onwards Decided to finally check out his discography from the beginning, listened to Cole World a few days ago and the interlude followed by this brought me tears. The piano progression and the beat drop is melancholic yet hopeful reminds me of reading a Vagabond chapter and Cole with his lyrics stitches it to perfection, his words reflect doubt and resentment answered by his self confidence, it is an achievement but Cole realises its still a long way to go until people appreciate how good he is, he may have shut some mouths and proved some wrong but there's a lot more to shut up. He is hopeful because there's no guideline, no box, no predictions, nothing certain and he won't take what the world has to say as a future and play his own game. It is corny but this shit is motivating, Cole has always been one of the best for me to ever do it. Cole, Ye and K Dot are the big three for me Pac and Biggie, Nas and Jay, DOOM, DMX, Slim Shady and a lotta other talented fellows may or may not be better than them but they are special for me.

Its 4 am as I type this
Been listening to Cole for almost 3 years, I am from India so I discovered him late, never really tried to explore his early albums was jsut hopping from Forest Hill Drive and onwards
Decided to finally check out his discography from the beginning, listened to Cole World a few days ago and the interlude followed by this brought me tears.
The piano progression and the beat drop is melancholic yet hopeful reminds me of reading a Vagabond chapter and Cole with his lyrics stitches it to perfection, his words reflect doubt and resentment answered by his self confidence, it is an achievement but Cole realises its still a long way to go until people appreciate how good he is, he may have shut some mouths and proved some wrong but there's a lot more to shut up.
He is hopeful because there's no guideline, no box, no predictions, nothing certain and he won't take what the world has to say as a future and play his own game.
It is corny but this shit is motivating, Cole has always been one of the best for me to ever do it.
Cole, Ye and K Dot are the big three for me
