Hey Parth, I'm hoping either your sister or you could help me out on this one. Currently writing my 12th board exams CBSE and I've been accepted into UC San Diego and ASU. Obviously the rankings and everything state that UCSD is a much better school for undergrad but I wanted to know if it's worth the money. UCSD would cost me roughly 66K per year including all residence costs, insurance, etc. But ASU would cost me 36K max including all the same amenities as I've been offered a 50% scholarship on tuition fees. I just wanted to know if UCSD is the right choice because I can sort of afford it but I don't see the need to spend that absurd amount of money for undergrad. @@rishclips5790 both UCSD and ASU are great. I recommended ASU to one of my friends, and he is going there this Fall. UCSD has overall better opportunities and comes under UC bracket. I recommended UCSD only if you could afford it, if it's going to be gut wrenching financially just to attend UCSD then you are better off with ASU. My friend whom I mentioned prior was also thinking for applying to a UC, I had him drop the idea because I knew he wouldn't be able to afford the stay and tuition expenses. California is no joke. +ASU was the best fit for him overall, as I knew him personally.

If you can afford it, go for UCSD. It will be a decision you won't regret.
