The problem with this is due to being Windows with such low built in storage this should only be owned and used by power users only. I made the mistake a few years back buying the win8, atom quad core, 32GB storage, 2GB ram, laptops/tablets for black friday gifts and it was a nightmare on my end supporting the people I gifted them too. This is definitely a chromebook killer for the power user but the learning curve, no need for anti-malware, and power washing is a much better option for those who aren't technical nor intend to learn how to be at more than basic user levels.
I still use my winbook tablets (both the 7" 1GB ram/16GB storage and 8" 2GB ram/32GB storage) and uBrand tablet (10" 2GB ram/32GB storage) depending on mood and travel requirements. When used for mainly browsing, media consumption, and low requirement gaming they are ideal imho but definitely not for the novice users.

Bought it last year. Still running totally acceptably well. Manages literally anything I do. Nicer to think of it as an alternative to an iPad/Amazon fire tablet of the same size...you can get the 10/11 inch Amazon fire tablet for the same price and it has the same size screen. I'd argue that the screen is nicer on my 10/11(can't remember size) fire tablet....and the battery life is comparable to each the tablet and this laptop. Works for everything you said it would and I'd never try to game on it because I'm not a gamer...but the battery life has been great for the past year... probably better than advertised at first... Charged each night would get me through a full day at 9-5ish college courses with judicious use of Killing Bluetooth and maybe airplane mode and lowering the brightness....if you totally lower the brightness it totally gets the battery life over ten hours tested. Running the hell out of this battery has left me one year later with about the advertised battery. This is a fantastic purchase. No issues with Linux either. Wifi works but I can't say I've ever tried to run it long enough off windows to get a fair estimate of battery life expectations. But I will say it works. I'll also add that I had a putty and or openvpn (stock client) running continuously in my day long classes which will speak to the impressive power management of the radios in this thing despite constant communication and wakeups.

Would it be possible for you to test League of Legends on this laptop? I'd consider it lightweight at lowest settings, maybe ram could bottleneck

also, csgo has a recent problem with video playback. basically, the panorama ui is always playing videos in the background. To fix this i believe you have to rename the "video1"(?) folder to something else and launch the game using -novid. You should get alot more performance plus, my i5 7300hq/gtx 1050 was also running csgo like poop before the latest operations came out.

I try Not to be disparaging of any hardware but even I was dubious hearing 2 GB of RAM but I’m surprised how well it copes!

It has a m.2 ssd slot

I used to own the 110S a few years ago and I picked the 4gb version of this up a few months back. I planned on installing a M.2 SSD in this laptop like I did my 110s. But as you can see from your video this connector for the M.2 slot is missing. Despite looking at Lenovo's own manuals to confirm this should of had the M.2 slot it sadly did not. So I returned it. Super solid little low cost laptop, but a big bummer that they decided to get rid of that connector. The 110s ran like a completely different laptop with the upgraded M.2. Oh well. Nice review though!

Good price, even for a "disposable computer", 64gb is enough for Win10 updates as of now, 2GB of extra ram would have been great.

My Core m-3 with 4 gigs of ram can barely run Smash on the GameCube. To the point its almost unplayable. I guess this Lenovo one is more powerful?

  • @Turrican60

Not a bad product for the lolly, in fairness. However, I'd rather pick up an older (but far more powerful), second-hand laptop from Ebay. Ex-corporate machines can be picked up relatively cheaply with way more memory, better GPU, larger screen, and a much faster processor. I never settle for less when I don't have to.
