Originally I was planning to build a MOC based on the Kamino Platforms, however after some consideration I have decided to centre the MOC on the hangar seen in the Clone Wars and StarWars Battlefront 2. So in this update I work on the: water, pillars and start the hangar.

To me, one of the best things about your Mocs are the freeform shaping and not just regular baseplate sizes (like me because I’m pretty boring). Great work Alex, great smoothed out look on this build.

I often criticize Instagram and RUclips LEGO builders for valuing size over detail. Huge MOCs have a really cool, impressive feel but its the details and offsets that I love about building with LEGO. Your work is an example of the perfect hybrid! I was amazed by the amount of detail you put into just the columns and from the progress you've made so far, this hangar section is going to be incredible! I'm really excited for more updates, post notifications are on. :)

Awesome episode! I LOVE how you are using 1x2 dark clear plates instead of trans clear light blue studs for water like everyone else!

Wow this is fantastic
I like it so far, but I think you should add in blue to the water because there are images of kamino in the day and it has more blue than you think, and it would make more sense in context
I realise in some images it has a slight blue tint but I still think the Trans Black is the best option.

Very cool MOC that's coming along nicely. I am really fond of the dark water you used too instead of the often used light blue.
Also, if you are interested, I have an AT-RT design with tutorial that could fit very nicely in the hangar along with the gunship.
Lastly, are you planning on making this a battle scene of just a hangar on Kamino with clones going about their jobs?

Same things happens to me, I'm building a big Starkiller MOC and I basicly need more generic bricks like light bluish gray 2x4's.

You should build a platform with the slave I battle scene
on the interior try to make a small white lab some where inside the hanger

Use some more color in the water and I suggest to use more clear white cheese slopes to create the foamy waves( there are lots of waves)

I would change the color of the water to trans blue. It might be more accurate to how Kamino looks

Are the bricks from brick link actually so expensive or is it just me not understanding the website or something like that
Depends on what part you're looking for. But it is cheaper than ordering directly from the LEGO Website. Although Brick Link can definitely be very confusing at first!

Because you are using the Clone War Obi-Wan you should try to use only Clone War figs

I'm actually quite happy with water colour, but if you could point me to a curtain reference where the water is lighter I would be interested.
