- In this video we look at the structure of the Heme/Haem Group and discuss how it can be added on as a prosthetic group to proteins, the archetypal example of which is Hemoglobin.
So grateful for this. You're a gift to students looking to understand the basis at a steady pace. Keep being such a good sport, please!
Why do i feel much smarter listening to a teacher with a british accent? God bless you sir thats a lott of help
Thank you! Very clear. Your pacing is great, a viewer really can't miss any of the details you're presenting!
Very easy to follow. Excellent pacing.
this explanation deserves the PERFECT word.
Thanks a lot. Explained clearly enough!
Very informative, best video I have found out of a 2hr search. My only Critique would be to draw dots instead of "+" for the lone pairs (correct me if I'm wrong), they are attracted to fe because they are more negative and it is positive.
As student who watched this 4 hours before the exam, I salute you
Nice explanation.. Thanks sir!
excellent explanation
thank-you very much
I love that you're very precise
I'm currently doing an access course in medical sciences, and i'm horrendously dyslexic. Could you tell me why it's called a heme group? I get that heme is an iron compound but I'm just a bit lost. I need to understand every label that is given in order to comprehend what i'm learning. Thanks so much for your video
thanks really nice ...and your pace us easily understood
thanks for this....
Very good sir
thank you so much
Could you say that the two non-covalent bonds between the ferrous and nitrogen atoms at the centre is Van der Waal interactions?
nvm, I doubt that. But what could you call them?
So good 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽
aren't these coordinate covalent bonds between Fe and Nitrogen?
thank you sir
Plzz make video myoglobin....
man, you're perfect
Hi Bro nice explanation though but apprehensive to say your double bonds are placed in a wrong manner.Love from India.
You forgot a double bond in one of the pyrrole rings
Hemoglobin me koun se element h plsss anws
Maqsood Ahmed Nitrogen
Iron
Carbon
Your writing could be a font.
Excuse me
What about the Carbon group between each ring making 3 bonds
Even carbon makes 4 bond
I think you Forgot something
Its a skeletal formula
thanq.. but poor sound quality
„Basically“
That pcha pcha sound during ur lecture breaks my tempo everytym....m sorry but m allergic to this sound!
you talk a lot
+behzad ghabel So?
That's literally the only way for him to get his message across
You talk to much
