If you have ever struggled with installing spiral locks, here is a great tool made by Lock-In-Tool. In this video I install spiral locks on JE Pistons and Callies Ultra connecting rod assemblies.
After I bloodied up my finger tips I stumbled upon a video using this tool. Couldn't buy one fast enough! There are videos out showing how to install these things without any tool. I don't care. I prefer the tool. 😂
Nice car man my mom had a 68 Firebird 400 just like it my grandma she had the 68 Bonneville with a 428 in it both ugly green I got a nice 455 and 71 motor YC block not sure what I'm going to do with it yet I might sell it or might build it
You're not the only one that struggled with it first try! Took me awhile as well to get the hang of it.
That takes all of the carpal tunnel, arthritus pain, fun out of the operation, lol!!

Great video. Looks like a life saver tool...can't seem to find one anywhere for sale. :(
Do you by chance have a link as to where to buy the tool?
You bet, www.lockintool.com/
Will this tool work for Tang circlips or just spiral circlips?
I am not familiar with tang circlips, I can't say one way or the other. You might reach out to Lock In Tool and see if this will work
