- In todays Episode of The Chronicles of Kayla you guessed it .. WERE PLANTING SOYBEANS?!?! But WHy... well the main reason is that we had so many wet bales of oats that we will not need to put up any corn silage like we have had to do in the past. This leaving open 36 acres for somethin- or really anything to be planted..
We chose to disk and field cultivate the dirt again, and plant BECKS Soybeans. See how they grow throughout the summer months.

Hi Kayla............tagging along with you .........your Illinois neighbor 👍👍 Bye
Unmistakable view out of an SG2 JD can there (for those of us of a certain age).
Cool video. Planting soybeans, is a cash crop or some other use? You are working next to your front yard. Is that the side yard? How did you feel after lifting all the seed bags? Be safe and God Bless
Kayla , your seed beans look kinda like cow peas. The were a darker maroon then your seed beans.
Bonjour belles vidéos vous êtes dans quel région!👍🇫🇷
Did you get your pen back after planting was finished? Lol
Yeah I stole it back
Why beans instead of corn
you guys putting any corn in this year
No not this year. Since we have so many of the oat bales we should have enough feed!
@@ChroniclesofKayla was just wandering is all stay safe and thank you for what you guys produce
Why beans…..you’re continuously saying that you’re not row crop farmers?
Because it made more sense not only for the soil but also we didn’t need the corn silage this year. Bryan who was here helping to wrap, suggested beans. It’s 36 acres. It’s not something we do all the time. In 10 years of being married to Jason. He’s done beans 2 times and it’s more of a put something in the ground that makes sense for us to harvest & sell before putting in alfalfa this fall or another round of forage oats. It’s all about utilizing what you have when you have it.
I work in repairing tractors and agricultural machinery. I am looking for a job opportunity
