Kim soo hyun was actually an introvert. His family didn't even expect he'll become an actor because of his attitude but he overcome it now.
From what I read his mom encouraged him to take acting classes while he was in highschool to overcome his introvert personality. His dad was a singer and his cousin is a director so it's no surprise that he became an actor since his mom encouraged him to do so...
