Can we all appreciate how good Oh Jung Se as portraying Sang Tae??
Trueeeeee mind blowing
Very realistic, he really did his homework!!! Love his acting in this drama!
right?? and the way he said autism isn’t an illness, it’s something you are born with. i have so much respect towards him and as an actor as he acknowledged this
He is the breakout star in this series. He definitely deserves an award for his acting.
He is really good, thats why he received an award in the last Baeksang
Seriously, these three should win acting awards in their respective categories. Their portrayals are absolutely spot on!
I’m touched by the actor’s perspective playing Sangtae, saying people who have autism are not suffering autism. The condition should not be considered as disease, but just something you’re born with. ❤️❤️❤️
My respect for him doubled when he said that
he’s such a good person ❤️
👍👍
💯
So people aren’t born with diseases?
When she said she was concerned about people not liking her character I was like no way grrrrrl! I started watching it because of him but I fell in love with her (AND HER VOICE) at first sight.
This drama is just something else. ♥
Same
I love her character
Me too. . .
I remember her hitting the judge in Lawless Lawyer and I thought she was perfect for her role here...
Me too💞:-)
So trueee
EXACTLY. She plays mun yeong so beautifully.
They look exhausted and not sad. They've come directly from the shoot for this interview! (YeJi is wearing the same outfit in Ep8)
No wonder I was like, that outfit kinda looks like from the last episode
Woa. Ur right. Same outfit 😲 How did you find that out?
She actually has short hair or long hair at the beginning? I notice the outfit too, but I'm just curious if that long hair is real or did she wear wig for the short hair.
RedMasqueradeMask I guess it was a wig in the beginning as she had short hair in her last drama as well ( Lawless Lawyer ).
But her nails are white in this interview. If you look at episode 8, her nails are already color green
I really hope Oh Jung Se wins an award for his character. He really acted out Sang Tae extremely well. As I have relative with Austism Spectrum I know and understand exactly how they are as a person and how they behave on a daily basis. Oh Jung Se portrays almost 90% of the characteristic of someone with Austism correctly. That shows how good he is as an actor.
Agreed. We should vote for him to get an award.
He deserves it!!
The three of them deserve awards!
@@HDvision1stlady yes of course they do! cheers :)
Your relative, does he/she have problem in speaking too? I know someone who does so I wanted to know more about it.
dude.. Im so used to seeing Sang Tae being autistic that watching him speak and act normally makes me feel strange lol.
same 😅
He is No Gyu Taw from When the Camelia Blooms.. Please check out that drama too. Although it's a supporting role, Sang Tae won an award for his performance in that show.
@@ymaye9103 I hope he wins something or this one too. I forget that he's not autistic in real life lol. He's good at what he does.
is he actually autistic in real life?
@@linw7775 no he isn't, he's just a good actor (I hope receives an award for portraying sangtae really well).
I like SangTae's character so much. He's not annoying. He's caring instead of being a burden. When he got tantrum, I would hug him too to make him comfortable... I love JaeSu's character too, his bromance moment with GangTae always warm and sincere.
Jaesu's character is the best! We all need a best friend like Jaesu!!! 😊
True.
That's why i love this drama sooo much😆
I love sangtae too but sometimes i felt like he didn't let gangtae live enough and gangtae feeling trapped all the time made me upset. I feel like everyone in this story deserves better BUT moonyoung's mom.
@@Wxffles yes, ikr these people say that they love sang tae because he isn't a burden that's true but at the same time i feel bad for Gang Tae considering that he doesn't have the chance to live his life like wtf mate! I'm not saying that he should abandon his brother but seriously you can't just take care of him forever and not living your life lol. As a person who feels the same like being trapped and grounded to someone, sometimes you feel love that person but there's a realization that you can't just do this for the rest of your life.
I cried when Sang Tae face lit up when he saw his younger brother finally joining in the family photo shoot . His acting is just mesmerizing !
He deserves all the awards for his performance in this show. I also cried when he saved his family from the villain. His character arc was wonderful to see 👌🏾
To be honest, Moonyoung's character is so unique, interesting and well layered that (to me) it outshines her co-leads'. Like Seo Yeji said in this interview, she has a lot of flaws, but they're portrayed in such a humorous and raw way that I always look forward to her scenes because they're sooo emotionally intense. Whether it's gratitude because of her lack of prejudice, outrage because of her complete lack of consideration for other people or respect for rules, amusement because of her shocking straightforwardness, pity because of her past or tension because of her unpredictable way of behaving. I think her character is brilliant and very refreshing, I absolutely love watching her!! Ko Moonyoung was beautifully written and beautifully acted out :)
Really well said, but the two other leads are also such unique and special characters that I can't say one is better than the other. Also, the relationships among the 3 are so interesting and touching. Props to the writer who came up with these characters and story.
@@slc4226 you're absolutely right!! I have a preference for KMY because of my personal taste, but all the leading characters in this drama are amazing. It's actually pretty impressive how solid all three of them are. Each brings something essential to the story (in a very unique way) and it's always interesting and impactful, as you said, to watch how they interact with each other. This drama is a pearl!!
Well said!!! And written!!!
As much as I love the lead actors but goshhh I really admire Oh Jung-se's dedication to portray Sang Tae's character. He did sooo well 😭
If you watch "When the Camellia Blooms" you will be see how good actor He is. He plays totally different.
The fact that Sang tae, is so respectful towards his character makes him such a great actor. As he said himself he went into detail to study his character, and when he said that ‘Autism’ isn’t an illness it’s something someone is born with just, his respect for people, is amazing. And he corrected himself by saying that he make the mistake at the first half. Give him an award for this! The cast are amazing they really are perfect for this show and I couldn’t change this one bit.
This is such a good interview, with actually good and thoughtful questions concerning each actor. I am so happy that they added Oh Jung Se, and we get to see how seasoned of an actor he actually is. He knew that the character was sensitive and is very thoughtful with his words. His performance speaks for this as he acts so naturally with no ounce of over acting. I didn’t know that I could like Seo Yae Ji any more than I what I have come to do, but she proved me wrong again! She is so mature with her answers that I am left in awe every time she answers a question. As for Kim Soo Hyun, I always knew that he was a dedicated actor but listening to how much effort he puts in each character is always a delight. He is truly an actor who respects his craft.
Very well said. This trio of actors is absolutely splendid.
Soo Hyun is like an excited child... gosh, didn’t realise he was that adorable! Love the series, having only just discovered KSH.
Watch My love from another star..it's awesome and he's good in it too

Ep6 it's ok to not be okay
syj: one point of concern is that viewers might dislike the character at first
me: i fell head over heels for her... esp her vibes and voice-
SAME
Sameee
right?!?
She's wearing the suit that she wore on ep 8 when she got punched by that guy
I noticed this too !!!!
I was just going to comment this!
Did she wear a wig in that drama or her real short hair?
Before the scene kang tae cut her hair,i noticed she wear hair extension
Noticed that too lol
Oh Jung Se says in this interview that while he researched and studied to prepare for his character, he is still lacking -- he is being humble. He got the character spot on. His thoughtful acting and attention to detail and nuances is so real, it's uncanny. Bravo! Bravo! bravo!
Can we appreciate sang-tae's character? He portrayed his role so well

I love Seo Yea Ji, her character wasn't the cutesy type and one to keep her feeling to herself. I *loved* how confident she is in the film. :)
the cast is outstanding, storyline is outstanding. Everything is outstanding. Everytime when there is a scene where Gang-tae (Kim soo hyun) misses his mother.. damn these scenes make me cry
i appreciate so much the fact that oh jung se is so careful and mindful of speaking/thinking about autism. i just think it's wonderful that he put in the effort and studied a lot but realizes that there is still more to learn
She really looks expensive
She *IS* expensive

It's ok to not be okay
Lol its sophisticated
I would like to applaud Mr. Oh Jung Se for playing such a delicate character.
4:55 he was right there. Autism is not an illness, it is something you’re born with.
Her voice is everything, her attitude and wardrobe .. great character and she did it to perfection. Sang tae actor is simply a master acting and I have the biggest crush on Gang Tae.. I mean, who doesn't 🥰
Kim soohyun eyes are literally shining and sparkling :')
Oh Jung Se is so humble that he praises the younger ones without holding anything back! He's so good not just at acting, but as a person..
Seo Ye Ji is so well spoken 😭 her responses are so deep and thoughtful and gives a really interesting insight into how she personally feels about portraying a character like Go Mun Yeong
Seo Ye-ji mentions concerns about if audience will dislike her character. I a USA grandmother. Her character and #seoyeji ‘s portrayal of character are my favorites of this drama. She delivers her lines in a cold, funny and at times heartbreaking way. I love this character, and quote her lines to anyone who will listen.
As no one is praising kim soo hyun i will!!! He is the only actor who can act through eyes and expression without saying a word........loved him since dream high!
Yeah and it's really starting to annoy me. They fail to recognize Kim Soo hyun's talent in this drama. Have been reading the comments and 3% is about Soo hyun which isn't fair, I understand others did a great job but please give him some credits he deserves it.
His acting was superb eventhough his character not unique as SangTae and Munyeoung. He can make his low profile character shining. That’s why director said in presscon “There is no reason of choosing him,he is One and Only”(that can act Kangtae role). I understand people love unique character. We must salute this TRIO!
@@P_reciou_s you got it wrong!!! There are less comment about him because he already got attention and everybody knows him for a long time! He is the reason everyone watched the drama and ended up falling in love with other cast members!
@@nkabir135 you said it yourself , don't you think some of his fans has forgotten about him.this is his first drama after d military and he deserves much credit as well.there are Many upcoming actors and it's not easy too make a come back after all this years. To be sincere I also forgot about Soo hyun , I recently found out about his new drama and his return from the military, am not blind , I also recognize the talents of the cast , what am trying to say is you guys should praise them equally.
@@P_reciou_s don't get me wrong! It's true he came back after 4 years but nobody forgotten him...... he is equally praised. But people are mentioning other casts more because they are new. He was and is still loved by all. His acting is praised like always! That's why he is still the most demanded Korean actor.
A short reminder for those who haven't rate this drama on IMDb go now and start rating to support the series 🤗

How do I do that?
Doing it right now 👍
ksh's eyes have this child like wonder that highlights his talent and love for acting, and just adds to his adorable personality. it makes him feel very approachable and lovely to be around.
seo yeji seems so mature and sincere to her character, and seems like someone who could love someone unconditionally but at the same, someone who is unbiased.
oh jung se is so respectful and cautious about studying his character and his traits, its evident how hard working he is. i find it incredibly heart warming.
it just goes to show that this drama did an amazing job at casting. waah.
Can we talk about how good looking Kim Soo Hyun in that suit?!
Am I the only one that started crying when Oh Jung-Se said he was wrong for saying people who have autism are suffering autism and that autism isn't an illness but something you are born with? When an actor is so immersed in portraying a character, the levels you reach are untouchable. His acting IQ is GOD TIER!
He won as best supporting actor in the recent BaeksanG awards for Camellia blooms (Oh Jung Se)
Their acting is absolutely phenomenal throughout this drama and i'm obsessed with just watching how they each portray the storyline.
Sang tae characters really touched my heart.my heart arching whenever turn he acted out of control.he totally into the character.daebak👍👍👍
I started watching this drama because of Kim Soo Hyun but I was quickly enthralled by Seo Yea Ji. All three are great in their roles but Oh Jun Se is next level - outstanding. Seeing him in this interview I have even more respect for the way he has researched and portrayed the character of Sang Tae.
There, is something about her that makes her sooo beautiful, but I don't know what is it!!!
It's her instant smile n deep sexy voice
Syj:Aishhh
Me:😍😻💕💞💓❤️💘💖
I really love Seo Yea-ji's voice😍 Her character in Lawless Lawyer and in IONTBO makes me an instant fan of her❤❤❤
NO I even like the character of Ms Ko at the very beginning of the drama. Feisty and straightforward, its new and refreshing from the viewers point. Different from the other kdrama ive watch. It never disappoints me from ep.1-8 and looking forward for an intense scenes on the upcoming ep., Loving Its Ok not to be Ok.
She usually just nervous during interviews thats why she looked kinda tense
She's trying to act like her character. You can notice her holding giggles or laughter every now and again.
Mogosan Andrei Yes, that’s right! 😊 I think she is a method actress

Ep6 it's ok to not be okay
Yes I think so
Oh jung se is a really good actor.... the ability to portray his character it’s so flawless that you can’t help but fall in love with the character.
Seo yeji :people will hate her
Me: I'll watch every drama that has this kind of female lead character(After It's okay to not be okay)
I love the character Ko Mun-Yeong. It really is nice to have a female lead who isn’t a sweet, out going, and cheerful person. She’s like a person who you want to figure out and question why she acts the way she is. And it makes the show more interesting when it’s the girl who’s after the guy rather than the guy after the girl. (Not saying that it’s not great having a nice female lead or anything)
I love the three of them, they actually portrayed their character flawlessly, and yes I am praising them equally and I am an additional fan here. I knew KSH since his drama Moon Embracing the Sun, and the first time watching SYJ and OJS as a lead.
Kim Soo Hyun as Moon Gangtae- his character might be easy or simple, but we can relate to him during these days, we act as a strong person but deep inside we need someone to take care of us because we feel weak. It really hard to portray this character and you can tell how he is good at portraying it along with his eyes.
Seo YeaJi as Ko Munyeong - I knew some of my friend who stops watching the drama because they don't like the character of the female lead, I say well that makes the KDrama unque, her character such a bad-ass, it is unique to the usual female lead in other Kdrama. And I continue watching because I am curious about why she became like that.
Oh, Jung-Se as Moon Sangtae- I've been watching Kdrama since 2008, and I must say this is the 1ST Time seeing a lead character who portrays a person with autism, a lead that doesn't need a romantic relationship, and I can tell that he invested time on studying the behavior of a person with autism spectrum. his acting is superb that I still seeing Sangtae as behave one.
What makes this drama unique is the character development, character portrayal, storyline, and plot. And I am really thankful to the writer, production staff, and actors/actresses who make this healing drama possible.
I REALLY MISS THIS TRIO!!
Why do the actors looks so tired and sad? Hopefully they get enough rest and don’t overwork themselves 😕❤️🙆🏾♀️

Major props to OJS for his respect for his character. There's a tendency by some to portray a caricature of neuro-atypical characters, but he made Sangtae feel real.

Ep6 it's ok to not be okay
Oh Jung Se made Sang Tae a real person. Like, I still can't believe that Sang Tae isn't real, and it is really mind-blowing to see Oh Jung Se out of character... Like, really, seriously mind-blowing. One of the most amazing performances I've ever seen, not only because of the realism but because of the empathy and understanding for Sang Tae that he has -- that innocence that he so perfectly conveys. Sang Tae will forever live in my heart.
Other than how MGT and KMY love develops, i am more fond to how Sang Tae opened up his heart from realising how an adult should behaves, working hard to save money to buy a camping car, overcoming his trauma over butterflies and accepting new people. Also how Gang Tae treats his brother. I don't have any experience with people with autism, glad i learn many new things from the drama :)
When she said she was worried people might not like her character at the beginning I was very shook because I loved how different her character was it made me feel proud of been a woman since she was so powerful and not your typical female lead. I loved her strong character and the way she looked at things. I loved seeing her character development as the story processed.
Kim soo hyun is like a ray of sunshine in this interview the're so serious and tired...fighting💪💪💪

Enjoyed the drama very much. One of the best offered by Netflix. The leading actors here as well as the supporting actors are great.
I fell for Oh Jung Se's good job at first, and now for his own personality and attitude. What a humble, serious and hard-working person!

Me too!!! I love this show!
When it comes to female k-drama archetypes, I feel like I usually like them well enough but grow to dislike some of them when they do not evolve with their experiences. However, for Mun-Yeong, I liked her despite her bad qualities because it was refreshing and I could see her growth. So I grew to like her more and more.
OJS is an amazing actor. I've seen him in other roles and he owns each one every time. audiences tend to focus on the "pretty" actors but OJS brings true authenticity to his roles. He absolutely stole every scene in IOTNBO. KSH and SYJ are great performers but OJS owned this series.
they all look exhausted, especially seo ye ji🥺 i hope they get the rest they deserve for acting amazingly❤️
I want Saeng-Tae as a brother. I love this character. He's a bundle of love, honesty, feelings and intelligence. What a portrayal of the actor who plays him. He should win every award possible. 💗
jung se is not just an amazing actor, personally i find him super charming and his smile is adorable. and the way he portrayed sang tae was insanely perfect
Oh Jung Se is always just amazing in his roles that I still don't know if I like No Gyu Tae more or Sang Tae.
Kim Soo Hyun, it's so cute when he's nervous💗💗💗
Seo Yea Ji, dislike the character? No way, you made me fall in love with Ko mun young.
Also, one of the best trios eveerrr!!❤❤❤
Sang Tar’s character is the best, He killed that character, he is indeed a good actor. He deserves awards.
Oh Jung Se played Sang Tae role soooooo amazing like HE DESERVES AN OSCAR it was sooooo good the expressions and every thing.
The actors and actresses are all very good, but Actor Oh Jung-se is the most outstanding playing character Moon Sang Tae.
Sang-Tae is actually my favorite character b/c the actor not only did such a good job portraying his character, he added so much emotion and depth to his character. He was able to display the character's strengths so flawlessly as well as weaknesses and most importantly, Sang-Tae's innocence. I'm just so in awe .

Wow utmost respect and admiration for Oh Jung Se on his approach to preparing for his role as a person on the Autism spectrum. He seems humble, respectful, compassionate, and understanding 😭 we need more actors and people like him in this world -- he humanizes Sang Tae
I liked Ko Mun yeong since beginning it's great to see a character that can fend for herself for once and express her ideas and wishes
I'm just so obsessed with gang-tae! He's so perfect and humble! I am not a big fan of korean dramas but this one changed my mind..everyone acted so well..wish i had a boyfriend like gang- taee....♥♥🥺🥺🥺🥺
I'm so grateful for this show. It's a show where the acting takes center stage and I can really feel the sincerity of the cast.
The brotherly love between Moon Sangtae and Moon Gangtae really touched me. We don't have to be perfect. We just have to try to be there for who we care for.
Ko Munyeong seems distant and cold but the subtle changes in her eyes.. I was brought to tears by Seo Yeji's acting.
Thank you so much to the cast and crew that made this excellent show. I haven't felt this way in such a long time...
Now I know what made kim soo hyun a KIM SOO HYUN. He got so many positive and bright energy inside of him. I watched many of his interview and his behind the scene video and i never see him tired or lack energy. I feel like he is always fully charged.
They are doing commendable jobs, portraying each characters just wow.

Now this is the first time I have seen any short video for this drama!! I loved this drama .. everyone's acting was outstanding❤❤❤, I watched it a few months back...the man who played the autistic brother was superb and that girl put in a powerhouse performance ...loved it guys❤❤❤
The description of disposable camera and expensive camera. The older and younger brother love description… ❤❤ Sangtae really love and look after his younger siblings. What a happy Family! 🎉
