Rudy has a strong presence. Yes, it's all those little things you mention that Rudy does in the scene that creates that exciting tension. :) I think someone uploaded the whole film on youtube.
The Eagle is a must see. A good film. Thank you for the compliment on the music. There are other good scenes, and even funny ones that are cute. Rudy and Vilma became good friends. But, i think Rudy and Vilma have excellent chemistry. They easily express different emotions to each other that seem natural somehow. Very enjoyable to watch them together.
What a great video Debbie. I have the movie but I've only watched it once and have forgotten the storyline. Love this scene. He looks so handsome..so sweet..(sigh) Love the music, It is great with the clip. Thanx for posting. Glad I found this. :-))
Thank you for saying that. I had a really hard time deciding on music to use for this scene. Actually, the version of the Eagle i have has not the organ score, but an orchestral score by Carl Davis i think. It's not bad at all. It uses like Russian elements. But, i thought i would try to come up with some music. But, yes, there is an organ score version to this film too.

I think it fits just fine! I thought when I first heard it, it sounded like something from a James Bond movie! Then when I read underneath, I wasn't surprised to read that it was! I love the music from that era anyway!
I didn't even know that someone posted the entire movie on youtube. One time i posted one scene from another Rudy film, and it got deleted. No, i haven't seen the movie that omits the neck messaging. I don't know why that would be left out either.
Yes. If i can help it, i do not listen to organ scores. I actually can't stand it. The organ music takes away from the action and emotion that is happening in the film. The organ is so limited, and does not go well with films.
Ok. I just watched a clip from youtube. It must have just been uploaded. That is a bad quality print, and the music i don't much like so far even though it's not organ. What i can do is maybe upload a clip from the version i have. The music is better i think.
