Went to 4WD show today that was organised by LandRover owners club of Victoria. There was more 76 & 79 series Cruiser's in the car park than any other brand of truck. Toyota by far the best.
You can seriously not beat a 70 series. What other 4x4 these days still has that tough old school look with a diesel V8 donk.... nothing. Only downside is the low slung alternator, which was a terrible idea.
