Nice stuff. I have just purchased my first Landcruiser 76 after many Nissans. Watching this makes me know why I have spent the $$$$. By the way I purchased one of your camper kitchens years ago. Works a treat. Good job all round.
Can you please recommend an engineer to get 2'' lift + 33'' tyre combo VASS certified, my 76 has 31's on it at the moment but I wanna go bigger? Who'd you guys use?
good vid and nice 76 just one thing i think is if u had of let ur tires down just a tad i don't think u would have had as much probs getting up that hill and u wouldn't have needed the winch i don't think. iv seen my mates 76 go through much tougher mud hills that way he runs his mikkys at 18psi and his 76 is just unstoppable but like i said nice vid mate
My ohh my, this is really nice. Aussie offroad is awesome. but what if you didn't have a winch to help? How can I join with you guys on such adventures? I love offroading with you guys, coz you pretty much do it the right way.
hey victor, for sure a LC200 could do everything the 76 does, but it has a lot more wide body work so i would worry about panel damage in some of the scenarios, cheers kaito.
Hi Excellent vids. I like the fact that u dont need to thrash the guts out of the 76 to overcome an obstacle all the time. Do you think spacers on the back are a good idea?
hi bill, the 2 art lockers help a lot with traction and the baja claws made it a lot easier. at the time we didn't have spacers on the back, but as soon as we got home we bought some snake racing spacers and they work great. kaito
kaito sutton Cheers. I look forward to your next adventure. Currently saving up for a 76 and convincing the family that it WILL be fun to go on an outback adventure!!??
Awesome rig. How did you find the stability when tipped sideways once you installed the 2" lift and 33's? Is the 2" lift worth the money, as the 76 is a fairly high vehicle from factory. I am in two minds about a lift or not. I am not liking the stock suspension ride or the centre of gravity. She's a bit top heavy..!!
hi kaegis, yeah depends what you are used to i suppose, i've always had troopies, so feel the 76 is very stable, as lower than my old troopies. search '76 series review drifta' and this will show you all we have done to my 76.. but if you want to add bulbar, roof rack etc, then you will need a lift really… it will give you much better ride more clearance, and may help with body roll, as will be stiffer suspension, but you will likely sacrifice the soft ride… you can email me luke@drifta.com.au if you like.. ta , luke
Cheers. Yeah I now wish I bought the 78 Series Troopy for the extra length and room, as I've just come from a dual cab ute which are pretty long and jave heaps of space. So if I add the lift, the suspension will be harder? Because I feel the factory suspension is already too hard. It sure is "rolly" but there's not much "float" in the suspensions movement. Just really rigid. I was going to try a Dobinson comfort-ride and install standard lift springs with the bullbar and winch in as I know I might not get a huge lift, but I will have more movement hopefully.
Yeah I have noticed as the 76 wheelbase is slighly smaller than my mates 2004 Prado. I so wish now that I bought the Toopy but again, it was another $15,000 more and by then you are in the 200 series money. Coming from a 2012 BT50, it's like a kick in the nuts. I would much rather the longer wheelbase as found on the Ute and Troopy.
Вы показали простые условия, по которым у нас пацаны ездят. Да ещё на подготовленной машине. Это смешно. Покажите экстремальные. Таких водителей мы на обычном УАЗе сделаем.
I just watched VW amarok 2.0 bi turbo auto (no transfer case) crossing Cope York , standard no mods. accept snorkel....done easy,,...this Toyota 76 make me 😁😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣

Отличный авто!!! Классный отдых!!! Супер)
you make very nice videos, good driving skills too, pleasure to watch always
Bill Hackett yeah the 76 does really well once it's lifted and got good mud tires, the V8 engine is the biggest advantage, heaps of power

Who'd you guys use?
Gulliver Giles it doesn’t have to be certified I think if you only do that much of life and tyre size.

Y'all, please answer me: Can an LC200 do this? If not, what automatic Landcruiser options do I have?
hey victor, for sure a LC200 could do everything the 76 does, but it has a lot more wide body work so i would worry about panel damage in some of the scenarios, cheers kaito.
Thanks a lot.
