Most JDM enthusiasts lust over the R34 GTR. The cold hard fact is right now they’re at ~$100k+ for just a decent, non-special edition one. This is without the US market being a legitimate factor. For a fraction of the cost, you can have the bulk of the look and performance with this 1991 R32 GTR. It even comes with the R34 GTR’s wheels and matching cherry red engine covers. All of this wrapped in the R34’s Bayside Blue that attracts many people to these cars in the first place. This car was also somebody’s (or more likely quite a few somebodies) driver in Japan. It has ~153k miles on the clock, and some elements of the interior will reflect this. The exterior on the other hand is pretty damn good. The car does run and drive, and fairly well given the mileage. Not odd noises, rattles, or grinds. Like most GTR’s, it doesn’t have A/C. Some things you just come to expect with these cars… This car ain’t perfect, it’s an old Nissan after all, but there isn’t a better way to have a car that replicates the R34 GTR so closely for under $40k. Think of it this way, You’re getting about 75% of the R34 for about 40% of the cost, if that helps. If a true R34 is your thing, we’ll see you in 2024. Bring $150k just to be safe.

    R32 INFORMATION:
Entering production in August 1989, the R32 Skyline GT-R was revolutionary in it’s class. It was nicknamed “Godzilla” in Australia due to it’s ability to outperform the V8 muscle cars that were popular during the time. With a 276hp 2.6L twin-turbo inline 6 and all-wheel drive, it could dominate on the drag strip or road course. The motor was matched to a 5 speed Getrag manual with a final drive ratio of 4.111. Also available was a 4 wheel steering system, helping the GT-R utilize all of it’s available grip. With a plethora of aftermarket parts and tuning it’s possible to push 1000hp from the GT-R.
    FINANCING INFORMATION:
Financing a JDM car is slightly different than getting a conventional car loan; don’t worry, it’s easier than you might think. Go to the FINANCING section of our FAQ page for more details.

wow overpriced $39,500. the interior is trash, imagine how they took care of the engine... horrible!! They even forgot to install the r34 rear bumper so car looks unfinished and that wing does not help. for that money id rather go for a clean skyline with lower miles, clean non turbo supra or a nice rx7.

Bro it's 29k don't get me wrong that is on the high end but if you are willing to work on the car a bit you can get it back into pretty good condition. I have to say though, the gtr is very overpriced for what you get now and days. I also rather get an FD rx-7 you still get a jdm legend but for a lot less than an r34. Also in my experience girls like the rx-7 more because of its amazing curves.
If the car was about 5,000 usd less, I think it would be worth it. Just to convert back to an r32.
I like Montu motors but sometimes they don't get the best cars. They offer decent pricing on their car hunting and importing service however, but I'm still shopping around. Some of my friends had to spend over 10k importing their cars because they didn't do it through people with experience.
I know this is dumb question to ask but do you know any other american importers who offer a similar service?

@@joelstatosky1817 3 months ago this thing was $39k. Idc what it is now. It’s a bad build. RHD SPECIALTIES in Washington gets jdms constantly and also work on their cars to ensure good quality vehicles, I would buy from them. Had a local r32 with r34 exterior and RB25DET Neo engine sell for 30k recently less miles and looked better. I’m sure someone will buy this but for the right price. 3 more years you’ll start seeing r34s gtt (NOT GTR) for fair price
