If you are planning on selling merchandise, please consider the button down shop shirt with your logo over the pocket! A breathable shop shirt is much better than a t shirt. Great videos! Been looking for a Promaster for a few months. Thanks for the advice on what to look out for.
You are awesome, great information great presentations. Would you consider a slider door adjustment video.? Mine slides rougher than some. I've made adjustments, but with no real logic. Thanks mucho.
There is an adjuster for up and down. It is on the back side. One side is easier than the other because you crawl under and see it. The other side is accessed by removing a cover in the wheel well right in front of the tire.
My driverside light is damn near pointing to the sky. The adjuster seems to be stripped. Its just skipping. I cant seem to get it to lower down. This pro master has been a straight headache from the day i purchased it. Just replaced the blend door actuator today, thanks to your how to video. My key fob doesnt work either, it does the security blink. No door sensors tripped. Idk. I love this van, but hate it at the same time. 😂
I have love/hate relationships with vehicles that are both excellent vehicles and terrible vehicles. Tis the way of the world. You might (might) be able to fart around with the headlight housing and make the adjuster work. What you can also do is turn the whole assembly that the allen key adjuster is on - it will release totally and allow you to pivot the entire internal headlight assembly. This might (might) allow you to put it where you want it, and then glue it or wire it in place or some such. But if all else fails, decent quality headlight buckets can be had on Amazon for around $120 or less. Swap your bulbs in, party on.
Regarding the side to side adjuster. I found when replacing my assy, the adjuster stressed the other bolts enough to break the plastic bracket at the bolt. I turned the adjuster to make all the bolts stress free. So, my adjuster is used to provide stress free mounting. Will, when time permits, re-examine the fit & adjustment assy principle. Just be careful.
I probably should have made that more clear in the video - it's a sort of a tripod arrangement between the three bolts. Luckily, most vans don't need the horiz adjustment, but almost every van needs the vert adjust.
Great content once again. I've made some adjustments to my headlights and I can't figure out why the high beams seem to shine lower than the low beams. The adjustments changes the aim on both low and high beams at the same time. Is there an adjustment only for the high beams?
To the best of my knowledge, the high and low beams don't aim independantly. But it's pretty complicated in there, and it's possible there's an adjustment for that. Unknown.
Literally just replaced a headlight yesterday (for the 20th damn time!) and thought “I should watch a video about aiming these because they’re way off”
I need help with my 2018 ProMaster 2500 Man the electrical issues are driving me insane and bankrupt. I will drive the 4-5ish hours to you from Hamilton county Ohio
Have a question Mr promaster. Do u know what the small silver button that is placed on the inside left hand side of sliding door? About 14 inches off the floor. Thx in advance..KJC

Search my videos for the word assess, and you’ll find a good one for assessing used vans.

Hey, you just did this for me and they actually point at the road now...COOL!!
We have driving lights (factory) on our van. Got any info on how to adjust those?
I do not. Never tried to adjust them. Unknown.

Thanks i needed this information
Well Gotta Damn Thanks!
Thanks, unrelated are you see many electrical issues on 2023-2024 models??
No. The 22-up vans appear to be more robust.!

@@keithjohnson1930 yes. That’s the door open/close sensor. Mates to a plate on the body side, pushes in a button.
On my 2018, this button is for interior lights in the cargo space.
thanks
Omg thank you again 🙏
Hope the 🥔🥔🥔diet is still working. Looking good.💪
Working well, and thanks!
