I actually do the opposite of KG I try to make my opponents laugh and throw their game off.
Just to let you know but making them laugh won't throw their game off. It'll probably make it better. The point of pissing them off is to make them angry which switches their normal mental processes.

@@TCthaCrisis In the situations you described, the player is better than the antagonist so you didn't actually throw them off their game. So, they don't get scared or frustrated which makes them think irrationally.
On the other hand, laughter will almost always put them at ease. Laughter by definition means you feel happy and/or safe.
Not acknowledging anyone but your teammates is the best way to go. The best way to stop a trash talker is by staring into their soul 😈

Unforgettable , rondo was my teams coach . All 22 members (staff and coaches too ) singed a red auerbach ball in memory of him . Followed by a championship !!!

1.) Happy Mother’s Day to Tim Duncan when they first played the Spurs after Duncan’s mother’s passing.
2.) To Carmelo saying Lala tastes like Honey Nut Cherrios (I’m also a Knicks fan so the fact that they lost the game also 🫠).
3.) Obviously, his greatest moment on the bench, “Trash ass…” yeah, y’all know the rest.

I am trying to resemble kg in trash talking and game. I was at the local park and there was some dude. I asked for 1v1. He didnt want to. I trash talked him till he agreed for 1v1. I won 11-4. At organized bball, opponent called a foul, that wasnt made. I trash talked him, and he missed all. I've blocked him like 5 times, because he was so frustrated and bothered by my trash talk. I dropped 26 pts, 12 rebounds, 3 assists, 7 blocks and 2 steals.
