Next challenge suggestion : defeat 2 rivals. Let them leave NY.
PS on prices: you really can set the prices just below red, just deduct 1 dollar on low value and about 5% on high.

Hey man. Congrats on #1. Love your content (if only it was even more frequent but take your time, quality > quantity)
Two types of contents I’d like to see from you:
1- full science. Just testing out stuff, not so much a play through. Best opening hours, best number of store per district, optimized logistics…
2- a full office play through could be a good challenge. Doesn’t have to be rags to riches as it’s getting overdone. But of course the harder the better.

Thank you so much! I like both ideas! Would be interesting to science things out for sure, we would have to figure out the best for each store type and district etc!
As for a full office play through that could be pretty fun too, like a whole office services empire :)

@@Delod Thanks for making these videos. I'm very much enjoying the content :)
I like sebjouin´s suggestion. Personally I am wondering if larger retail stores results in more customers than smaller ones, given all other factors being exactly the same. The electronics store could be good for testing. Let's say we have a large 75 customer per hour capacity store and a 30 or even better a small 15 customer capacity store in the same district, with the same traffic index. Use staff with the same skill percentage and decorate the flooring and walls identically in both. No need for extra flowers etc. Since an exact matching traffic index could be difficult to find, using two stores with close to the same index would work fine. Ideally with the small one having the highest traffic index if there is a difference.
Then add display tables for some expensive products, covering the two stores individual customer capacity. I don't think I have ever seen 15 customers per hour at any time of day in the small buildings (still referring to electronics stores). I theory, If the game actually only use demand/pricing/competitors etc. to determine how many customers you get, both the small and large store should have about the same sales over time. I would expect that the game actually show a max amount of customers per hour of less than 15 even in the large store. If the game however adds an extra customer appeal for large stores, that would be great to know.
If you for some reason would hit the customer capacity limit in the small store trying an experiment like this, it could be solved by just creating a third store in the same district where prices are lower. This doesn't need to match the qualities of the other two stores. It would just be there to take some of the existing demand in the district.

I kind of just did this type of video just now, a shorter one, but I'll be uploading it today :)

Thanks Delod :) I saw the upload. Nice work setting it all up with different buildings etc. It must have taken a fair bit of time!
You did show that there are clear differences between buildings, even though other factors are kept the same, and none of them had more than 15 customers per hour at any point. I kind of wish the game didn't do this as the alternative would make it easier to know how to optimize the group of businesses we own.
