    I'm happy S8 owner...it is a S- Class Mercedes model in Coffee Machine World. Any of its coffee is perfect.

    Hi! We have the S8 and LOVE it! Making all kinds of coffee is a breeze. However, we’re wondering if there’s any way to program one drink that would include hot water and milk for making hot chocolate?

    • @FaemaCanada

      Hi Tali, thank you for your comment, very glad to hear that you enjoy the machine 😀
      Unfortunately no, since the milk spout does dual service and dispenses hot water as well, it will rinse after frothing to remove any milk residue. However, it is very common to use the "portion of steamed milk" as opposed to milk foam and adding hot chocolate powder after, this way - no hot water needed.

      @@FaemaCanada no, the whole point of that question was basically how to get hot water into a hot cocoa drink, so i'd also appreciate an answer to that: i.e., how would be go about getting some water after or before doing steamed milk? This issue is not small for many households who want to make hot cocoa, which for maaaany ppl these days is part water.

    Hey so I’m not a coffee person but my girlfriend is and she only drinks ice coffee so my question is can i use the S8 to make cold drinks? Or should i get the Z10? Thanks!

    • @FaemaCanada
      @FaemaCanada  Год назад

      Hey there! If your girlfriend is an iced coffee enthusiast, it's essential to note the differences between the S8 and Z10. The S8 can make a great espresso, which you can then pour over ice cubes and add cold milk to create an iced coffee. However, it doesn't have a specific cold brew feature. On the other hand, the Z10 is designed with a unique Cold Extraction Process, allowing it to make genuine cold brew coffee. So, while the S8 can make iced coffee in the manner described, the Z10 offers a more authentic cold brew experience. Depending on her preference, this might sway your decision. Hope this clarifies things for you! Cheers!

    Does the S8 brew Americano?

    • @FaemaCanada
      @FaemaCanada  2 года назад +1

      Hi! The S8 does not have a one-step americano option like E8 or Z10 (espresso + hot water), it does however feature coffee option

    Hi Mike - excellent video. Can you please confirm if both S8 and E8 have option to make the milk extra hot (ie set the temperate at maximum) ? I like my flat white coffee extra hot so wanted to check
    Many thanks !!

      Hi Sumit! Thank you for your question! Both machines' settings for milk are factory preset to hot.. However, if you would like your coffee even hotter - increasing a volume of coffee in your milk-based drink will help.

      Main difference between the new E8 and this S8? How hot is the coffee?

    • @FaemaCanada
      @FaemaCanada  3 года назад +1

      Hi@@barrybrown7892
      Thank you for your question. The S8 is an upgrade from E8 in the Jura line-up, that has several design & functionality differences:
      1. S8 has a 4.3” touch screen, as opposed to a display with push buttons on E8
      2. S8 offers multiple beverages profiles - like mentioned in the video, you can create several versions of a drink that would have different settings
      3. The milk frother on S8 has two modes- microfoam and milk foam; E8 only makes microfoam (frother attachment is optionally available).
      Please let us know if you have any other questions or reach out to us for a more detailed breakdown of the differences
      Thank you! 😊

      I’ve heard Jura S8 does not produce a very hot coffee, only warm. Any temperature control on this unit or any solution to this other than cup warmer accessory? Thank you.

    I bought this and feel like it has potential but cannot find the right taste. It always seems bitter. Quite disappointing. With 3 bean or 4 bean strength and medium grind, always bitter. Does anyone have an ideal setting they would like to share? :) I use Illy canned espresso beans.
