@ditto team, a small correction: The Bhamashah Scheme in Rajasthan was replaced by the Chiranjeevi Bima Yojana, and recently, it was again replaced by the Mukhyamantri Ayushman Arogya Yojana. Thanks!!
@Ayushman Bharat Yojana [1] According to a CAG report - It is found that irregularities in beneficiary registration are identified for instances of deceased patients receiving treatment under the scheme and multiple beneficiaries linked to the same phone number. [2] Though the scheme lists many hospitals, a significant portion might not be actively participating. This reduces options for beneficiaries, especially in rural areas. [3] PM-JAY covers a portion of hospital bills, but patients might still incur out-of-pocket expenses. This can be a burden for low-income families. Do you guys still think that this initiative is great? In my opinion, No. Govt really needs to work on multiple loopholes on priority before it can be praised as a successful yojana.
