I just heard of this plugin called life by xln on Andrew huangs channel and it has a field recorder option where you can record whatever samples you want and it automatically puts it in a bunch of different percussive beats you can choose from or make your own. Looks like a huge shortcut you should def check out
The raw percussion samples are hilariously terrible but so intriguing! That's what makes this such a great sampling exercise. You're a master, Christian!

Happy to see you took notive of my suggestion about drag and drop directly inside Logic > Sampler.

what's the transient trick?
Trimming off the attack so the sample starts at the peak of the transient.
