    Thank you Christian for all this kind of content, I've been following your channels for ages and it was you that made me really passionate about creating my own sound and my own libraries!!     I just heard of this plugin called life by xln on Andrew huangs channel and it has a field recorder option where you can record whatever samples you want and it automatically puts it in a bunch of different percussive beats you can choose from or make your own. Looks like a huge shortcut you should def check out

    The raw percussion samples are hilariously terrible but so intriguing! That's what makes this such a great sampling exercise. You're a master, Christian!

    what's the transient trick?

      Trimming off the attack so the sample starts at the peak of the transient.
