I'm looking forward to the Meizu 18. They make very attractive looking phones and the software is nice...if updated excruciatingly slowly
used to love meizu, love their mx 6 pro plus, impressive phone, and still even powerful to this day. the bad? their global rom and software version is crippled and a strip down version of their chinese rom, which have better features, the phone have a heart rate monitor, the problem is, in the global rom, they dont have that feature unlock, because their software engineers are stupid. if i were you, stay away from them, i personally own a couple of device from them, and move on and use xiaomi now.

Most people don't even know the charger was removed. Working in a local carrier, about 90% of people, who recontracted their mobile line, asks me "Where's the charger?" or "Where do I put in the SD card?". Or a few years back "What happened to the headphone jack?"
You see most people just buy what's the latest without checking the specs, they don't even know when features are removed or introduced, which sucks as companies can get away with it (because they still sell well).
@Phantvm Yeah, there's nothing wrong with buying any phone, since it's personal preference. It's just that people buy it blindly without a hint of what they're getting, then they start demanding a free charger or whatnot.
We're looking at the possible winner of "The Blind Smartphone Camera Test 2021" or maybe the pro/ultra version.
Pro / Ultra verisons will be much better than this .

I love curved screens, it looks so good and really gives it a premium look in my opinion. I've had a curved screen for a while now and accidental touches shouldn't really be an issue unless you grip your phone really weird.
Really the biggest problem is that they’re fragile:/

been using xiaomi since 2014, only replace the phone every 3 years with xiaomi too which is redmi note 3 and currently redmi note 8, best decision ever, never went to service, and most important i don't have any heart attack everytime my phone drop, call me cheapo idc, i just need a phone that worked and reliable not for social status

Yes definitely can't be called a budget phone when you have the Moto g and the Samsung a series out there. Solid phones at low prices. But I think the point he made and I agree is that mid-range is the most important category right now. There are a lot of people who want a good phone but don't think they need everything the ultras, maxs, and pros offer.
smarthphones are significant investments. Most people should be buying and using one phone for 3-4 years. With that in mind, $700 isn't that much money, especially with how much we use them.

Galaxy Note 3 started it all in 2013 to imitate a leather notebook... I still quite like the appearance of their take on this. The back is super grippy, matte black and enables to change the battery in a matter of ... seconds. Dann I want my 2013 back.

@@Conceptcreator s-pen, which is the main feature of note series has way more utility on a phone like zfold than note. The only distinction between s series and note series is s-pen which they are trying to add to s series.

Has been using mi 6 since 2017, want to switch to mi 11. The best one so far!
Had the Xiaomi Mi 9 for almost 2 years now and i am still 100%, given the value
Have broken the screen and at first it was okay for couple of months. One day it just did not work anymore after a week of glitching and I attempted a repair but it is rather difficult and both screens just glitch and show statics. Never happened to me with all the iPhone repairs that I did for friends... Xiaomi could start to take a course of apple and offer more uniform models. They are not innovative in all those variations and I can’t imagine it to be lucrative either.
Tldr: Repairability is meh though and s**** for the environment

If Xiaomi’s phones supported U.S. bands they would definitely take the lead in the US phone market with these prices and amazing specs that they offer on their phones.
The metallic circle at the back is just for aesthetics and it means you have one of the two limited editions variant. There are 3 normal variants and 2 limited editions.
