I’m making lyric videos to all of Cèlines english songs that doesn’t appear on her studio albums. Either covers or simply unreleased tracks. I have NO COPYRIGHT.
This was the last song at my wife’s viewing. We were married 14 years, I lost her too soon. I would give anything for it to have been me and not her. This song fit her perfectly. Fuck cancer. 5-10-24. I miss you baby. I love you. Thank you for the 16 years we had.
Gosh, this is so beautiful! Why is that every female version of a wonderful piece is sang by no less than Celine! Perfect! Missed my father so I looked for the female version of this, I’m crying a lot😢😢😢😢😢
Verse 1] And now, the end is near And so I face the final curtain My friend, I'll say it clear I'll state my case, of which I'm certain I've lived a life that's full I traveled each and every highway And more, much more than this I did it my way [Verse 2] Regrets, I've had a few But then again, too few to mention I did what I had to do And saw it through without exemption I planned each charted course Each careful step along the byway And more, much more than this I did it my way [Verse 3] Yes, there were times, I'm sure you knew When I bit off more than I could chew But through it all, when there was doubt I ate it up and spit it out I faced it all, and I stood tall And did it my way [Verse 4] I've loved, I've laughed and cried I've had my fill, my share of losing And now, as tears subside I find it all so amusing To think I did all that And may I say, not in a shy way Oh, no, oh, no, not me I did it my way [Verse 5] For what is a man, what has he got? If not himself, then he has naught To say the things he truly feels And not the words of one who kneels The record shows I took the blows And did it my way [Outro] Yes, it was my way
So good to listen to her voice. I heard the news she is losing her voice in consequence of stiff person syndrome. It's so sad, she is one of the biggest voices of our century. My prayers and good wishes to her.
And now the end is here And so I face that final curtain My friend I'll make it clear I'll state my case, of which I'm certain I've lived a life that's full I traveled each and every highway And more, much more I did it, I did it my way Regrets, I've had a few But then again too few to mention I did what I had to do I saw it through without exemption I planned each charted course Each careful step along the byway And more, much, much more I did it, I did it my way Yes, there were times I'm sure you knew When I bit off more than I could chew But through it all, when there was doubt I ate it up and spit it out I faced it all and I stood tall and did it my way For what is a man, what has he got? Celine Dion is wonderful and delivers a great rendition but the one singer that would bring a twinkle to good 'ol bue eyes is Vanny Vabiola. She absolutely nails this song with probably the best version there has ever been.

Ok it was good, but, and this may just be preference, but i dont like when people add unnecessary "Extraness" to the songs, because in most cases, as i said, it's unnecessary and honestly makes the song sound worse since it's clearly out of place. Example 1:45 ~ 1:53 inbetween there, youll know what i mean, it's super obvious.
Adding. Excluding the "Extraness" (and the fact thered be a lot of time skips) this song would be an 8 or 9 outta 10, but due to them it made this a lot less enjoyable, though that may vary for other people because im just kinda sick of singers doing that, i would give it a 5 or 6 outta 10.
I get what you mean. It’s called riffs and Céline is famously known for her vocal agility so it’s quite natural for her, when feeling a melody, to ad-lip :)
The pinnacle of a singer...you don't have to read or to see who's singing but you know who's singing
Lin-Manuel Miranda
Well said friend ❤
To anyone who wonders: She DIDN’T officially record this song. She sang it during Rene Angelil’s cousin’s funeral in July 1992.
Very true!
With respect 🙏 and blessings a voice of ANGEL

Needs a bit of rasp. That's the only thing singing. Wonder if Miley Cyrus has done a cover!! 🤔

c'est pas Céline quand même,? parce que ça fait très amateur!
Celine did great but Billy Gilman did it best and wirh more personality!
