Very entertaining as always, Hayley. And indeed, they weren't real friendly. ^^ You've found a piece of the puzzle. Remember this place. As for the Leaden Key itself... think back on the dungeons you've already visited. There's one you've not explored in its entirety I believe (unless I missed that bit). You've explored it a while ago, but backed out because of other pressing matters at the time. It's much closer to the civilized world, perhaps under it? I'll leave it at that, but will give more hints if you'd like. There are still many quests to do, so eventually you'll be lead back on track most likely. That toxic cloud hit your party hard. It's avoidable though (AoE druid spell), but you need to spot it and relocate your party. Sura's Supper Plate might be a nice shield to enchant further. It's just a buckler, but it pairs well with a small weapon like a dagger (no accuracy penalty). Enchanted it provides better defense too. As an alternative combat opener try to shoot or cast from stealth. Haylien and Kana have good range and I believe Halien is a decent sneak? Shoot and retreat to where your party is waiting in ambush. Alternatively Aloth could cast a spell (like a fireball) from stealth, catching multiple opponents by surprise. As a rule of thumb: let enemies come to you and avoid going to them as much as possible. Decide on where to engage, or you're forced to engage on their chosen terrain (often stumbling into ambushes/traps yourself). Sounds easy, hard in practice of course. But you do have capable ranged party, so why not use that to your advantage? ;)
Thank you :) I was worried about this episode since I have been so exhausted 🥱 also I had a few glasses of wine before this lol 😂 interesting 🤔 i will try and work it out, but I won’t hesitate to ask for some more tips. The damn traps 🪤 it is like they are trying to trap me 😂🤣
@@HaylienGaming Haha, now that you mention it. You did react a bit more sharply on one or two occasions. Nothing crazy though, so no worries. It was another good episode. :) Dungeons can be quite taxing on the nerves. They require constant focus with all the traps and enemies strewn around. And you can't rest all the time. On higher difficulties you can't even carry that many camping supplies with you, so every encounter counts, as well as every trap blown up in your face eating some health away. It certainly demands patience and persistence. EDIT: Don't forget to rest on time! Keep healthy, Hayley. 🙂
In the midst of an oversaturated swamp of overcooked and regurgitated content on RUclips nowadays it is old school videos like these that I can bare to watch and click on. Very nice. Relaxing voice also.
@@HaylienGaming We've all been there. It's a lot to manage, but you're doing really well, you're a fast learner. You could probably even crank the difficulty up by one and still be alright at this point.
52:10 - Yeah I was afraid this might happen. They tell you to get lost in the first convo, if you try to speak to them again they won't ask again. They're not messing around. To be fair there's nothing to really tell them anyways, they don't want anyone inside, they don't care who it is or why, so anything you may have discovered inside would just get you killed for going inside. 52:55 - They're on the "Nobody is allowed inside for any reason" side.
17:45 - I think you may want to disable the AI on Grieving mother, I didn't realize this bc I don't use the AI, but this is not the first time she cast Whisper of treason on an enemy that's immune to it (to be fair you did it too, but still). I don't think the AI takes immunity into account at all. Just using mind blades 2-3 times would have already ended the little bastards.
@@HaylienGaming Personally the way I use it is AI is not allowed to use any abilities, but I put them on aggressive for the auto-attack. Reason being, I don't want them to cast spells bc they sometimes hit allies or use things that aren't effective, but I do want them to continue shooting even if I forget to click attack or their previous target dies.
@@HaylienGaming Yeah, Edér, Kana even your main are fine bc they don't really have any spells that can be a problem, but Aloth can legit blow your own party up by accident XD

@mhjmstultiens 😂😂 I am taking to a bit slower until exams are over. I am addicted to uploading though 😅

12:50 - That's an ominous message to get =))
I was scared 😱 this whole episode was nerve wracking!
23:57 - She's got a dagger equipped and it's not the thrown kind XD
28:20 - Yay, you gave her a crossbow, much safer for her!
I felt so stupid :D

@@HaylienGaming She does have several profiles. Maybe there's one with only damage spells. Might be worth a look as well.
I will check it out :)

@davidbodor1762 that makes sense, I will do some experimenting :) maybe I could remove AI from the more rowdy companions 😂😂
