Julie! You're so wonderful and supportive! Thank you. I edited out the bit where I go on for a while about pronunciations. You know how everyone calls the M.Micaleif fragrance "Noté Vanille" when it's actually Note Vanillée? I took out my little 50 cent diatribe about how to pronounce that, and i mentioned YOU because all anyone has to do is ask you how to pronounce something in French and they'll never have to be embarrassed about their pronunciation again. (I don't know that most people know that French is your mother tongue).

The fact that you love this perfume so much is a real delight for me. I didn’t get much when I sampled it, but I have always been intrigued by it. The way that Nishane presents it and how they connect it to The Little Prince. ✌🏻🕺🏼❤️

Personally, the length of a video is often the first thing I look at. Not a reflection of the host, I subcribe to various channels, and want to see them all. I sub to more cooking channel than perfume ones.
I've stopped commenting a lot, but I'm watching.

At first I didn’t get much either but, over time, the sandalwood brought it all together. It’s lovely and smooth and I definitely can appreciate it now 😊

@@ScentSiblingsDotCA I think so, just based on the fact that I can sense it around me, smell it more clearly, and it feels more full and complete. I don’t know about the projection, no one ever said anything about it 🤷🏽♀️
I was also bothered by the pronunciation, but found some interviews with the founder and it sounds like "Nih-SHAH-neh" to me (not quite like the "Nee-shaw-NAY" we hear so much, but really not far off). I had to know. As someone else said, must be a Canadian trait.😆- Mo
Hi Mo. THANK YOU FOR THIS! Nih-SHAH-neh it shall be. Wow, I feel like you've rescued me. (I actually had a whole little segment in this video about pronunciation but I deleted it. In the end, it doesn't bother me that people pronounce things "wrong," it's that the reason they're pronouncing it that way is sometimes because of blind faith. I like to KNOW when I'm pronouncing something right or wrong. I love that you had to know, and I love that you let me know. :0 Canadians, eh?
Yes Please!!! Sleeper hit series sounds perfect!! I mean..after awhile chasing all these new and hyped frags gets tiring and personally for me I would love to just take a breath/break from buying in 2024 and enjoy what I already own in my collection. I’m hoping there will be plenty of sleeper hits in there??!! Also bringing up fragrances of yore..lol..like from 5 years or more ago to talk about is also a nice idea me thinks. Island of Misfit Frangrances. Shelley, YOU'RE AMAZING! May I use that as the title? I just finished filming it this morning. It's an idea I'd been working on for a while. I did the designers in the first video, and I'll do niche and luxury in the next. (Please feel free to tell me to eff off if you want to start your OWN channel and talk about the island of misfit fragrances. I just have this vision from the stop-motion animation Rudolf and the island of misfit toys - that poor little doll who cries, and the Charlie in the Box, and the pistol that shoots jam, and the choo choo with the square wheels on the kaboos. Oh my gosh! We watch that movie EVERY. SINGLE. YEAR. I LOVE THIS!)

Full disclosure: part of the reason I wanted to film videos again is because I valued our fume-ship (I'm going to do this until it's a thing) meant so much to me. I didn't feel right messaging and whatnot (although I still did it) when I wasn't part of the community. I know that in a weird way that makes sense to you, right? So, I'm back. :p

I also commented under the other comment that I added a short on my page with the co-founder pronouncing the name of brand. Check it out to see if you pronounce it correctly, lol!
