Just installed mine in my enclosed trailer. I will say the mount and the bar are stout. In fact the weak link will be my trailer floor!!!. Works great. As a side note the bike's suspension will compress about 1 in so do not freak out if the mount seems a little low (also there are different size mounts for different style bikes). I love it so far. Thank you for the video.
Thanks for posting this. I also recently bought a single axle toy hauler (Wolf Pup 18RJB BW) and was a little concerned with a single axle trailer hauling a full sized motorcycle (BMW R1200RS) but if you are hauling two Harleys with a similar single axle with no problem, I guess I should be good. I'm buying this product!
Just the video I was looking for. I'm picking up an 18rjb Wolf Pup and need to transport a 1000cc sportbike and a dual purpose bike for my son and had no idea how I was going to do it safely. Thanks for the video! 🎉
Good job, Scott. Cool that both bikes fit in there together. This will be great for you and Marie to enjoy many trips on the bike while out camping. Nice that there is room in there for Harley Caroline to go camping with you.
What a great system yeah you can get both bikes in. I just visited with Rat Fink Ron this morning he was showing me his tie down in his trailer. Video to come.
nice job on the system. Bad choice of Rv do, won't be able to fit 2 bikes with fairings. That was my main concern when It bought my Rv, made sure there was no cabinet in the way for at least 10-11' while keeping it short. I found a Forest River 25' that had that clearance. Definitely add a 3rd D-ring in the middle at the back, so you can tie the rear tires with 2 straps (V) to prevent side movement... you don't want your nice hard bags to rub against the other bike or the sofa frame. I've also purchased rubber mat from the hardware store (sold by the yard, 3' wide) to protect the floor. I will definitely consider you system in the future.
A trailer and a camper?it looked better and comfortable than my hut, that is one good idea friend.it's important to keep those wheels on good hold while going somewhere for camping or for ride show maybe.nice.thanks
Well that helped! I have a Softail Deluxe and my friend has a Heritage. Not sure if they will both fit. They are both 8 feet long. I do like that tie down system! Thank you for making this video!
Thanks for sharing this. I have a Grand Design 397th and am looking for a better solution. Can you update your thoughts on this product after using it?
I love this set up. Scott Corgiat will cut you a custom size cross bar if you have an odd size for your set up. I no longer have the toyhauler (I switched to a bunkhouse because of grandkids. He just came up with a new system for a truck mount which I will use in the Spring. Thanks for watching.
Thanks for the video! I've been looking at that System for the toy hauler I plan to buy next month and this might have sealed the deal. I was curious though, I looked online and watched your review videos and couldn't find the garage width of the KZ 180TH. I'm curious what it is since I plan to haul two bikes occasionally as well and it would give me a more realistic idea of the space I'll have in the models (trying to stay under 4500 dry weight) I'm looking at.
The space was about 76" but narrower where the wheel chuck bar went. You can fit them in class together because of the sturdiness of the system. Scott at bolt it on will make a custom bar for you if you need it. Thanks for watching.
Nice tie down and very nice toy hauling conversion of You cargo trailer, do You have any video while You did the transformation? I would like to do the same since must be cheaper than buy a toy hauler and for sure more stronger than the other kind of trailers
I did video the changes but the video file was corrupted so I couldn't use it. I have four cargo trailer videos on the channel. One when I set it up for the bikes, one when I set it up for camping, the first camping trip in it and the Spring Gulch video where I camped in it. Thanks for watching.
It was a custom cut bar. If you leave a message for Scott Corgiat at Boltiton.com, he will have you measure it and take a pic. There was no extra cost for the custom cut bar. Thanks for watching.
My bar is 44.5". If you order the system, Scott Corgiat at Bolt it on will have you take a picture with the tape measure on the ground by your front d rings to get the exact size. You should have no problem hauling two dirt bikes.
we are definitely getting the bolt it on set up, thanks for sharing. what we are more impressed with is that fact you mounted the spare tire in the ramp door. how did you do that, no one at the dealerships want to do it. did you get a schematic to find out where/what to mount it through for strength?\
Are you not massively overloaded at the rear of the trailer with 2 big bikes like that? That thing has got weave going down the road with negative tongue weight. Not to mention exceeding the GVW of that trailer
Didnt see one on the outside side of the bar. I did notice the rings on the chocks and the movable rings. Just wanted to know if you have any issues with tie down with the limited space... really digging the set up!!
Wow- I am new to Rv/trailers- but moving into semi retired. I dont want to buy a big trailer, and to just use my SUV w 7000lbs max. Right now, it looks your rig and your system is the best method for me. I should have more breathing room because I will leave the indian home and take smaller bikes in most cases (adventure/dirt/sport bikes). There seems to be some dual axle small toy haulers-did you consider any of those? Thanks for sharing.
I did but my issues was hieght. I wanted it to fit in my garage so the choices I had were limited because of my 9 ft 8 in ceiling restriction. Most of the time I take my switchback or my wife's 1200 low. It has worked well for me. Good luck. Let me know what you decide.
Just curious have you ever weighed your travel trailer with the bikes in it? I looked up the KZ sportsman classic 180 TH toy hauler and the gross vehicle weight is 5000. I’m looking into buying a toy hauler and wanted to see how this setup towed with two bikes with a single axle.
No I haven't weighed it, the only accessory I added was a Maxx air fan. When I had both bikes in it (Harleys) it was tight but pulled as expected. Most of the time I only have my Swicthback in there.
Hi I like the demonstration might be getting this bolt it on. On another note we just bought a toy hauler camper and there is no spare tire mount. Watching your video I noticed that your spare is located on the cargo ramp door. Did you do that yourself? If so what did you use?
The spare was mounted on the back by the factory. You could use an after market kit. You might also look at adding a trailer hitch and ordering a mounting kit for the trailer receiver hitch. Thanks for watching.
Can you still get around the bikes without too much difficulty? Have been considering a similar size/layout of camper as well as the Bolt It On system. (Actually your trailer make/model is on my list of possibilities.) Though our bikes are smaller than yours, I'm still concerned it may be difficult accessing the bed & bath area with bikes inside for quick overnight stops. Would like to just be able to climb in and sleep without unloading the bikes. There are some models with the side door close to the front. Am trying to decide if I should shorten my list to those models only.
With my switchback by itself it is no problem. With my switchback and my wife's sportster, it's a tighter step to the front. If I had a pair of Suzuki S40s it would be no issue. What type of bikes do you have?
@@BikesBoatsBivouacs Thanks. Your mention of the S40s gives me a better idea of spacing. Your trailer is, for me, a good compromise between additional comforts and a smaller, more convenient size. I'd rather squeeze past the bikes on overnight stops as opposed to upsizing the trailer. We've a Zero DSR, an electric dual sport, and my wee little Honda XR100R dirt bike. (Because no one makes a dual sport for someone who is 4'11". lol) We could end up with a larger dirt bike in place of the dual sport or take the Zero plus a small street bike for me, like a Honda Rebel 300. Either way, I don't think the space the bikes would take up would increase much. Thanks again for sharing your trailer with us. It has been very helpful. Happy travels!

I made sure my d rings were secured through the frame of the trailer. Thanks for watching.
Love mine. Use it for dirt bikes in my little toy hauler
I'll have a new video coming out on the Boltiton system for the bed of my ram 2500. Probably in October. Thanks for watching.

Scott Corgiat at olt it on is great to work with. I just ordered a new system for a pair of groms that will fit in my truck bed. Thanks for watching.

How cool is that - so simple and innovative
It works great and allows bikes to be transported closer together. Thanks for watching.
Very nice set up. Great video, thanks.

Thanks for sharing! Super helpful. We just bought a wolf pup and will definitely be using some of these tips & tricks

Hi Scott, that's one great time down, your trailer really holds those bikes good. Hi Marie.

You would have to rip out the bathroom or kitchen. Lol. Lot of work. Thanks for watching.

I love this system. I use it in my toy hauler and on my garden trailer. Thanks for watching.
I'm working on a 7 by 14 cargo trailer toy holler I would like to see the one you built maybe get some ideas from it see how you did it
Hi John, I no longer have the rig. Ill check to see if the person I sold it to still has it.

You sound like Jay Leno btw.
Lol. Thanks. I love this system. I also use it on my garden trailer to haul the bikes. Thanks for watching.

I usually only have one of the bikes with me when me when we travel long distances. I never felt any sway in the time I owned that rig.
Considering this system, would like to see how you tie down the front of the bikes with 2 .... where do you hook the outside bars? Thanks
The bar has adjustable rings on the front crossbar.

@@BikesBoatsBivouacs If you go camping in your RV with your bike(s), you just leave them in the middle of your RV living space?

How wide is your trailer where you installed the bolt it on system?
57"
What is the name of the Product
Bolt it on.
Cool but Won’t work for two Baggers .
Not in the rig I have, maybe in the next one. Thanks for watching.
Очень много веса от двух мотоциклов добавляется на задний свес прицепа. Это плохо для стабильности движения.
