Can't stress how much I needed this today. I've been struggling to love and respect my husband in the way God wants me to and I haven't understood how to show him respect when I feel resentful. Thank you for your wisdom and grace and kindness!! God bless you and keep you.
This was such a great video! I’ve been married 11 years this year and this advice is spot on! My husband and I have been doing a lot of these things but have forgotten some so it’s been nice to be reminded! God is really speaking through you ❤
Wow this was so timely!!! Thank you for letting the LORD use you! GOD knew I needed to see this today on my 7th month wedding anniversary, so encouraging❤️I love that you used Scripture. THE LORD makes all the difference! Thank you for sharing👏🏾🙌🏾🥹❤️Praying for your beautiful marriage and family🙏🏾🤗
Thank you for talking about these real aspects of marriage ❤ marriage isn't meant to make you happy it's meant to make you holy. God uses marriage to sanctify you, no doubt!
100% agree! Your spouse should not be your source of happiness...only God can complete you and truly be your source of joy, peace and love. Your spouse is your closest and dearest partner to help you grow closer to God. I have been married for 14 years and it is definitely tough sometimes but really is so beautiful. I think being married has taught me the most about unconditional love.
Been together for going on 4 years but we recently got married in May 2024 and omg we have been hitting rough patch after rough patch and I couldn’t figure out why this is so hard…it’s because I need more God and I let myself back slide and it’s a domino effect that hit my marriage!! I’m in the process of fix it and putting God back in the center!! Center of not only my marriage but my life! This was so helpful thank you so much for sharing!! ❤️❤️❤️
I have been slowly/cautiously letting God back into my life and this video really stirred my heart and soul. Your words made me want to stop and pray for my husband. Thank you Celest ❤
Love this! The part where you said the man needs a heads up when you need to talk to them about something that has been bothering you is very true. Also never using “you always” or “you never”
That last question 😭 You put that so well! I think the world would be a better, more respectful place if every couple sat down regularly and discussed their most Christlike qualities together. I'd say you absolutely nailed this!
This is beautiful thanks for sharing - every question spoke to me so thank you! Great to hear your perspective & love your wisdom… keep running and seeking after the lord mama he is totally using you xxxx
I really appreciate your godly answers for being a biblical wife and submissive even when it's hard. Thank you ❤️ it's amazing how much I need to hear this and I've been married 13 years 😂
wow, thank you for this video, and for your honesty and advice... i am not married, but i SO love the idea of "who you speak to is who will come out (the king or the fool)" thank you for sharing!! ❤
I agree with you on a log and what a beautiful take on marraige. However, we are only called to submit to our husbands when they are in submission to the Lord. ❤️
@@rosiecarnes6317 there is biblical scripture that directly contradicts this. Let me be clear; you never have to submit to a husband who is leading you to sin. But the Bible is clear that we are to honor our husbands as a form of submission to the Lord. We are not the judges of what makes our husband worthy of respect/submission. God is. But also I think some people don’t understand the term “submission” and it gets misunderstood🩷.
@@CelestRayanneMann I completely agree that it's misunderstood. I also very much agree that we don't decide what makes our husband worthy of respect/submission, so we do it even when it's very difficult. And it is a way of honoring the Lord is to be in submission to our husbands. However a lot of the time when a man is not in submission to the Lord, he is blindly leading you into sin, which then means a wife is no longer in submission to the Lord by following her husband because he is not doing as the Lord calls. Which is why for those instances, it's more important for the woman to make sure she is in submission to the Lord before she is in submission to her husband. Just like you wouldn't purposefully mary a worldly man and have him lead you, because that wouldn't be in submission to the Lord. That's what I was acknowledging. I do really appreciate your content. God bless. ❤️
Love your content but some videos are hard to watch when they are so religious based. It’s almost as if you assume all your viewers are into religion. Unfortunately, I often have to skip through these parts.
@@tjb7283 sorry it bothers you! My faith is my entire life so I will always share in hopes that it would change others lives the way Jesus has changed mine ☺️
