After trying it in store and wearing it for a few days, I finally took the time to film my review of the latest release in L'art et la matière collection by Guerlain, Jasmin Bonheur. The nose for this fragrance is Delphine Jelk.

Haha yes I hate dabbers too ! (Unless it's for oils and I'm OK with it or rollers 😉) But they had no pre-filled proper samples to give yet 😅
I love that you compare various parts of the fragrance to others, it's really helpful and really surprising when you mention fragrances like green tea ☺️
I don't even know if there is tea in it but I have a similar vibe from it to jasmine/tea/musk fragrances. Especially in the last part if its evolution.

thanks for your review! It's surprising that they list 4 types of jasmine and yet it isn't prominent in the way one would expect to experience it. Musc is a tricky note for me too. I would like to sample it just to see what Jasmin Bonheur is like. Hopefully I will eventually be able to. Hello Jenn, I was surprised too that the first floral I noticed was orange blossom... while the sale assistant was telling me it had violet (which I didn't smell 😆) ... I expected more jasmine for sure 😅
But you know Guerlain likes tricky names for this collection. Cruel Gardenia is more about musk to me, Cuir beluga is more about vanilla, Joyeuse Tubéreuse smells more like lillies and vanilla ...

I love the musk! I do understand what you mean about the drydown being “mushy” or “diluted” great description re the filter that pales it all down. It’s a fairly strong like for me at this point. Not buying….yet. Never say never 😊
When it went into that musky direction I was wondering if you would enjoy it as I know you love musk 😉😘
Unfortunately for me this is something I struggle with so it will be a pass. There are not that many that I enjoy so far, only the ones from Nicolai or Chanel seem to work on me so far, like Musc intense or 1957 ...
Unisex or totally feminine release?
I found it leaning a bit more on the feminine side. Then, I would say it depends on your taste (if you love white florals for example)

je le trouve très poudré vintage personnellement, pas du tout à mon goût, heureusement pour mon porte-monnaie :)
J'aime beaucoup le départ mais ça se corse dans l'évolution 😅 Trop de muscs pour moi mais mon porte-monnaie s'en porte mieux également 😂
Pas aimé non plus, très cher pour ce que c’est 😢
Je suis un peu déçue mais mon portefeuille s'en porte mieux 😜
