THIS RIDE WAS SO FUN!! As someone who is deathly terrified of heights, my brother convinced me to go on it and it was the best roller coaster ever!! No scary drops and the breeze on this ride feels amazing! Definitely would do it again and again
I wish all roller-coasters took 99-104 seconds or longer. Also this is the only kind of roller-coaster my husband will go on because it doesn't go upside-down. Looks like fun!!
I went on it 4 times in one day and rode 14 coasters in all because of the cloudy weather, I’m a local and am going back with my dad next week. 10/10 would recommend
I went on a Tuesday but I don’t really think the day made a difference, I think if you got to choose what day you went I would recommend a rainy day @@FearNvl
We just went to Dollywood for our first time a few days ago and it was the most fun ive had at an amusement park. Big Bear Mountain is an incredible coaster among a solid lineup of coasters. Thunderhead was probably my favorite one. Love this park!
I rode this not yesterday but the day before yesterday and I have to say thats my favorite roller coaster ever I know people like different things but I loved it
I don’t like drops and heights. It’s that stomach rising feeling that gets me. I did however survive slinky dog dash and guardians of the galaxy. I thought guardians was milder. Would you recommend it for somebody like me?
@@libertylover2597you may still get those feelings of "butterflies" but this isn't a super tall or super fast coaster. It does have 3 launches, which may give you that feeling, but it's a very smooth ride, stays pretty close to the ground, and isn't scary fast. It's definitely more than Slinky Dog Dash, but I'm not sure about guardians. *I would recommend this ride for you!*
@@libertylover2597 Have ridden it yet, but just based on the videos, you're only going to experience a slightly higher "drop" than Slinky Dog Dash because that maxes out at 40 feet I believe.
I just got back from Dollywood and me and my family had a great time and last minute we rode that it was so fun and the wait is so long bc everyone is trying to get on it
Just went on Wednesday. No lines. Went on it 5 times. My daughter did it 7 times. The ride is great. We loved it. It doesn't beat you up or scare you too bad, lol.
My 7 year old hated it lol. Said it was the scariest one and closed his eyes the whole time. I had to keep grabbing his head to keep it up because he kept trying to look down and the force was keeping him there! 🤣🤣 I loved it, my 10 year old loved it and my daughter and her boyfriend liked it but he said it beat him up lol.
I rode this yesterday with my sister and had to wait 50 minutes but IT WAS SO WORTH IT. We both got off feeling good that we didn’t wait around an hour for something that wasn’t good.

Once the people Infront of us were on the cart on big Bear so we were next we were excited then I turned to watch it and on the hill it had a rollback problem 🫣 we went on it after we got to go through the fast pass area even tho it's not quite out yet but it was really fun in front row!
I rode this a couple days ago I was there for Coaster Con. That ride is fantastic. I loved it so much. It’s the best coaster at d Dollywood. In my opinion. Lightning Rod is great but this ride is so much better.
Went on that yesterday once and It was amazing. I got sick after that but other people i was with went on it again and someone stopped the ride so Everything just stopped. The people I went with got stuck right next to the exit but couldn't get off until they were evacuated.
Me and my friends went on it and around the 3rd launch he yelled over all of it “WHY IS THIS SO LONG” and I was laughing the rest of the way. Then I had to take a break for nausea. I still loved it though.

Lightning rod doesn't go upside down either!

@@FearNvlits usually crowded everyday but id say somewhere when school is in session... late September is usually kinda slow

If you like roller coasters I suggest the wild eagle and Tennessee Tornado those were the first roller coasters I rode with loops now I love them
This is one of the funnest roller coasters I have ever been on, 10 out of 10 if you go to Dollywood I highly recommend trying it
