This game is an absolute hoot, but the concepts of cancelling your blocked jump attacks into a jump, teching out of air hits and being able to act, being able to use your special moves as Supers (!!), AND the wall break all on top of it? Very ahead of its time

I have this installed on my SF2 Arcade 1UP cabinet modded with a Pi 3B+. The Pi has to be overclocked to get it running at full speed but man, this game is pretty sick. It was well worth the trouble of getting it working on my setup. Great game choices!
To answer some stuff about Gonzalez. I'm pretty sure his style is sambo, so I assume his outfit is a sambo outfit. It's pretty much Russian mma and it's got a heavy emphasis on wrestling. His hat is sorta a Russian thing too.

its so fascinating to me how in the fightcade frenzys laming out and abusing cheap stuff is so embraced. this is not throwing shade, but it does make me appreciate more recent fgs where things tend to be ballanced out and designed more to intentionally guide us toward a way matches are being played out. in these wierd old games i would totally always go for the cheapest and most braindead strategy i can come up with and all my friends would hate me for it
The main martial arts in Russia is Judo and ikido. Sometime karate. Middle schoolers training some of this disciplines outside of school. But police and special force training somesort of combination of all this(plus sambo) called "System" And of course there is no sumo )

And it doesn't take away character's' abilities to interact with the walls/side of screen
